However, it should NOT be imposed upon others by one creature (Starchild/Shepard). let the living live, and whatever will happen, will happen.

See what I find most insulting about synthesis (beyond it being the most space magicey of all the endings. Again... robot DNA lol) is that its a direct 180 switch from one of the games biggest themes, which is diversity. Synthesis basically throws all the hippy diversity makes us stronger thing out the window by stating the only way for there to be peace is if were all pretty much the same. There may even be some truth to that if you take a bit of a cynical view of the world, but it certainly doesn't gel with the overarching theme.

I remember somewhere it being said that building Mass Relays is virtually impossible because no one knows how to build them, and unless there's a magical blueprint on how to build MRs in Harbinger's corpse then I have no idea how they're going to do that. But let's ignore that. Say rebuilding the MRs is possible from the getgo, won't it take hundreds of years to rebuild something as complicated as the MR network? Won't the turians and quarians have starved to death by then? Won't the krogan and vorcha have said, "screw it" and started killing everyone off because, as we've already established, killing is more fun for them than actually doing anything else.

Shepard barely got the galaxy to fight together and rebuilding something as complex as MRs would take a lot of cooperation. Will they be able to do it or will it all fall apart before they even get started?

Omg, I'm more confused than before now. 

My thoughts exactly. And where would they get the resources to build said relays? Earth has been decimated. And don't relays require a second relay to function? Would that require someone else to build a relay on the other side? Who's going to do that? All the other planets have been decimated too and the majority of spacecrafts are in the Sol system.

I've asked my rl friends on couple of occasions why do they like being around me, and none of them can actually name any resons, they just do. Pheromones perhaps?

hearing the news today its not really want i wanted but i will wait until the dlc is out before deciding whether to continue with other dlc....i still i love the game but the ending just crushes everything fun after it is over

Holster that weapon captain, we don't want to fire the board. We want to brutalize them, kick them in the nuts, and then keep them around as a warning to anyone who tries to do anything like this again.

And we don't want to fire any/all of Bioware either, if anyone goes, take out the writers responsible (and the destroyer of Tali and the Quarians) and that's it. Everyone else did their jobs great, but several high-ups and writers have managed to utterly destroy the franchise in one pathetic attempt.

This thread needs more Rammstein to lighten the mood !

It took me nearly 9 years to realise I actually like their music. I've listened to them every once in a while since Mutter, well couple of years after its' release, Spieluhr still being my favourite song, but I go into their music just couple of months ago. I guess it really grew onto me, lol  Stockholm-syndrome.

Sonne is my favourite, and I really wish I could drink at least a beer right now.

Tired... Sad... 

At least I'll have The Witcher 2 to play and try to forget ME.

I was away for several days without internet access, I came back, first thing I did was check this forum and see THIS as BioWare's answer to our begging and resolving their mess?!

THIS I didn't expect, but feared.

Until the "Extended Cut" is realeased I will refrain from spending money on BioWares products (e.g. SWTOR), which I have been for 4 weeks already. Whether I will ever buy their products again depends on how well their extended cut explains things and whether it gives proper closure.

Nevertheless they lied to us about our decisions and how those would unfold in the ending of the trilogy

There is a good chance though that I will never play ME again and try to forget it. A shame for the best game ever...

Missed the FAQ. Catching up now, but I can already see that my once favorite company has a corporate deathwish, as in not really wanting our money anymore.

hmmm as I said on another thread, a "clarification" dlc is NOT worth my bandwidth. Dun care if it is free. You cannot clarify stupid which is exactly what the endings were. God if I was a billionaire I'd fly a thousand or more of us to PAX.

just read extended cut info and I am very disappointed and angry, I think BW and EA will not see more money from me after my TOR subscription will end
