So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Since the DLC is free we know it's going to be insubstantial. No new endings, probably very little new Voice acting, no actual gameplay. Probably a narration. 15 minutes max. Is anybody really surprised that a big, slow, dumb corporation acts in a big, slow, dumb way? If it was going to be something more than just some cutscenes from the cutting room floor then they would be charging for it.
We're obviously just too stupid to understand their artistic vision. Be sure to buy DA3 and ME4 coming soon!
I doubt we'll see any real new dialogue at all. Jenefer Hale says she hasn't been contacted about recording anything more as the voice of commander shepard. My guess is that their current plans involve simply including the cut dailogue, which is alread recorded, and then adding a little bit to the ending cutscenes so we can see just a little bit more of our decisions impact than the ending color explosion. Honestly, it doesn't sound anything at all like what we asked for. At least we don't have to pay to be duped this time.

Well played Bioware you trolled us hard personally I hope all upper managment and anyone who thought up their plot hole ridden ending and their 4 month too late "fix" gets fired. If I find out any game company hires any of the senior people I will no longer buy games from that company either

I'm having a very difficult time thinking the developers are looking at the current ending and still able to use the words artistic integrity, sure, if it was an abstract painting I might be able to buy that thought, but this is not an abstract painting, this is a story that had clearly defined rules.

Wouldn't need to be even a painting, just not set and bound by conventional storytelling from the start would do. A case in point: Journey. It's a game, but since it never set itself to storytelling the same way ME did, they could've ended the game to a giant picture of Hudson eating a raspberry, and it would've still been well within the game and lore, and the game as a piece of art.DJBare wrote...

...well, maybe not Hudson eating a raspberry, but I made my point.

Just give us the option to say no to the little ******. I don't care about "clarification", let the universe burn. I just need to see Shepard not taking it like a ****.
Well done Bioware.
Sorry about the crudeness but it is needed.

I WANT to say "wait until it's released and see what the DLC contains" but I'm really not gonna get my hopes up. As far as I'm concerned, Indoctrination Theory is canon.
Thanks, EA. Thanks for destroying my all-time favorite video game series.

never buying a bioware game again. fire the writers of the ending and wherever they get hired I will be avoiding as well...... worst handling of a game post release ever. Well Played EA and bioware well played.
Give them the benefit of the doubt here, not alot of details on what this really is aside from the FAQ. But if this turns of to be BS I will go right along with you & nail the coffin

Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that I'd be posting in a forum. But today I feel I should at least let all those who believe that the last five minutes were extremely poor, and that "clarifying" it is not really addressing the major issues that the ending brought, that, at least, one more person feels the way they do. You've been an excellent group, who, for the most part, have remained extremely civil throughout this whole mess. So, for whatever is worth, you have my everlasting respect
