Hi all, been lurking again since my last post (some 500 or so pages ago) every day i still checked this thread for news, still holding the line the whole time
What do I think of Bioware's recent DLC announcement? Well, I can understand the mixed feelings, heck, I'm sceptical myself. What do they mean by 'clarify' and 'artistic vision' ?
I don't know honestly, but im glad to see this movement has managed to make something happen.
I boycotted ME3 about 3 weeks ago, and still am now. which is very sad indeed considering how much i played the previous 2 games in comparison. I want to cling onto any hope that we may have. which for me right now is: Bioware have acknowledged us, and given how well we know they're script writing to be, I'm all up for giving them a second chance. Bioware says that its a company that listens to its fans, and to that i say: if that is the case, then we have nothing to worry about, as they should know full well by now what the fans will and won't accept.
I'd rather not download this dlc and find that it was not at all what the movement was fighting for. Mass effect from that day will be remembered as a near-perfect series that was botched at the last moment. and no one wants Mass effect to be remembered as that

We love the franchise too much. I myself donated to the charity and wrote a polite letter argueing the points of our case to Bioware. Never before had I done anything like that for a game series I loved before. All to help the Retake ME3 effort.
to everyone feeling like we've lost: do not lose hope. as I've always said: it ain't over till it's over. and it definately ain't over yet. We've still got PAX yet to see the outcome of, and if they do indded do this dlc, then only once i've seen the finished thing for myself will I start seriously making decisions about whether or not Bioware or especially EA, will ever see my money again. (Cause as far as I'm concerned, I'd like to think this is EA's fault)
It may seem bleak, but right now: I'm willing to believe that Bioware will make everything right and end this series on the fine note it deserves: a good, meaningful ending that has a vast array of different variables based on our decisions, that, is ultimately what we have all fought for, and are still fighting for.
So long as one person still remains on this line: This line has not fallen! *Defiantly stands next to the flying UK fleet banner* I for one, do not intend to back down.
