Pretty much this. I guess they can stand there repeating "I'm invisible, I'm invisible, I'm invisible..."

I think adding a PSP licking Game Journalist in your Game is clearly a work of art.
Who is with me eh?? *looks casually around and sees noone*.
If the ending is crap and doesn't make sense, then you SHOULD listen to what your Fanbase says.
WE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AT THE END, NO NEED TO CLARIFY.
RED Explosion= Reapers destroyed, Mass Relays Explode, Normandy crashes on random Jungle planet called Eden.
BLUE Explosion= Reapers "disappear", Mass Relays Explode, Normandy crashes on random Jungle planet called Eden.
SPACE MAGIC Explosion (GREEN)= Reapers "disappear", Mass Relays Explode, Normandy crashes on random Jungle planet called Eden.

I have a feeling they think that'll be enough. I hope enough of the platoon will be there. Imagine a whole panel where every answer will be "were not gonna go into that". Because many will be asking. Hopefully.
I'm thinking this Extended Ending fiasco is going to be Bioware's Suicide Mission. They're going to need all their writers bringing their A game to have a hope of making this right by us.
Mr Hudson should seriously consider doing some loyalty missions for his staff.

I dunno when they were going to release stuff, but if they even try before they release the DLC for the ending, they're pretty much guaranteed a massive boycott.

No, it was on purpose. They are not talking about any of this during their PAX panel <_<

I fully suport the hold the line thing. But in my opinion, I would just be happy with the explanation of the ending... don't care if shep has to died, since it makes sense
I'm not a big supporter of this whole, "I want happy endings etc." but I still disagree with the "I can understand if Shepard has to die." Although it would make sense if this wasn't a game, there is no way that with 100+ hours of hugely variant decisions Shepard should have to "anything."
BioWare has given us a superb franchise and ruined it by trying to be clever. And when that's backfired because it makes no sense, they say we need clarity. If we need clarity on the ending then it's your fault, not ours. It's because you rushed it, you tried to match the rest of the brilliant writers out there and it didn't work. It's not a bad ending on it's own, but it doesn't belong in this franchise and, oh... it's been done before a lot better!
3 choices that gave MY Shepard no choice. Control the Reapers? After fighting Cerberus and TIM for the whole game, there is no way my Shepard is going down that route. Destroy all Reapers and synthetics? How does that work God boy? You made the Reapers specifically to stop synthetics killing organics. If I do that then what's to say it wouldn't happen again? You make no sense... you trol*in me??! And synthesis? The whole point of Mass Effect, against everything else is that different races can work together, get along and fight for a common goal. Diversity is what makes the galaxay so special. And now you want me to throw that away? Not gonna happen.
I'm not even going to get into all the other various plot holes and broken promises that were left.
So clarity BioWare? You're telling us we need clarity? Maybe because your ending is broken. Maybe because you tried too hard. Maybe because you had an ending with no clarity in it.
I will hold the line and I will not stop. I will not be downloading the DLC until it's been thoroughly checked. If it sucks (which I'm predicting it will) then I won't be purchasing from this company again, which saddens me. They have fallen so far that it's just not the same company anymore. If it doesn't suck that they have a small amount of redemption, at least in my eyes. But it will take a hell of a lot to explain why they had to go down this ridiculous route.

Indoctrination proof!!
look at these segments
Blue ending - first minute. Total control of Sheppard. Ghost kid smirks (Illusive man's mistake)
Green ending - first minute. Assumed control of Sheppard through deception (Saren's mistake)
Red ending - first minute. No control of Sheppard. Ghost kid vaporized. Sheppard wakes up in rubbles of London
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7zY3WBT2q0
Just these facts are enough to have a 100% conviction that the last part of the ending, when Harbringer's eyes glow yellow during the final rush (Assuming Control), is an endoctrination attempt.
Enjoy!!!!
Proof against Indoc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJ5qPIcuMZA&feature=channel. I really think BioWare just F%^&$& up
Hello! I've watched your video link and I found the commentator very amuzing. I've also watched the 39 min video. However, I agree to disagree. First of all, this "proof" against indoctrination is based on opinions, discreditation and some other "logical concepts" that have nothing to do with the Mass Effect universe.
That being said, there are hard, non theoretical or "too subtile to be taken in consideration" facts out there that support the indoctrination concept. And not just a handful. In fact, there are more relevant clues to indoctrination attempt than you can count on both hands. I'm not going there... They have already been broadcast everywhere.
As for the market vs player point of view, sorry to be blunt but as long as the story is as awesome and mind blowing as it is... No matter if we agree / like it of not... We will be paying and paying. Both EA and Bioware know that they are sitting on a gold mine. The only way they can screw this up is to keep the game as it is. Then the gold mine will dry up and they can say good bye to all that big DLC money. Cheers!

Because someone whose work created a gleam of joy or a sparkling tear in someones mind and heart and loses the adoration for that little touch, will never be able to truly call himself an artist anymore.
Let's see if they live up to the big words they use.
True, this is their universe, they unearthed it.
But with the possibilities they gave not only us but themselves, they could have given almost everyone something, that would make this small sparkle glow so bright, it would unearth itself in a smile so true to everyones self, it would be worth a thousand tears.
Works of fiction are just works of fiction. A game is just a game.
Yet, how many who dreamed about flying to the moon, read the works of Jules Verne?
A simple book inspired generations.
I've seen a lot in my time. Lived a lot.
I'm just 25, but there are some parts of my life I don't want to mention, that made me realize some things.
I always found a bit of some of those characters from ME in myself, especially Joker.
Going on, even though you're down.
Building a better future for everyone, even when you can barely walk.
Stories of hope and life, brought me through dark times and made me chose a path, that I hope will allow me to make a lot of people smile.
BioWare has created a lot of wonderful stories. Stories I could experience, just like everyone else.
I see this fading.
The joy in bringing joy seems gone. Replaced by PR and soulless marketing.
I don't know, if the "Extended cut" is the last stumble of BioWare to redeem itself in the eyes of those who were disappointed, to redeem themself in their own eyes. or a PR-move to regain sales...honestly, I would like to believe it's the first or second.
Everyone can stumble. everyone can fall.
I don't know what the Extended Cut will bring.
I don't know, if anyone reads this and laughs about the naive idealism I still hold dear as a part of my personality, or if I touch someone with this.
I chose my path in life.
I know, how small things can have a big effect.
Holding the door open for an elder person, smiling to a child, can make them smile in return.
All it took for me today, to make my mother smile when she came home from work after a long day, was a bit of earth in a pot, with some sun-seeds to bury in it.
I'm holding the line.
Because I know, small things can have a big effect.
Small things like a sparkle in your soul.
Small things, like the voice of a beloved you hear in utter darkness, when you feel yourself slipping out of your body, making you decide to stay and fight.
In a sense, the artistic integrity is the best argument they could give us.
Because art can be the one of the most powerful things in the world, since it touches the soul.
And you can't bend, break, destroy or buy a soul, because it's is the most powerful thing, we will ever have.
The only way to lose, is to stop trying.
So I keep holding the line.

Please anyone going to PAX don't do anything that we're going to regret. Don't lose your cool. Remember, don't compare them to Hitler, don't scream, don't threaten grievous bodily harm. And be ready to be disappointed or by Bioware. They're probably going to try to move on to their next big thing anyway.
Constant hissing or whistling any time they try to talk would suffice. It'd be a clear message and look funny on YouTube
Although, I do like the idea of everyone just sitting there with their ams crossed in complete silence. I think that would be funny too.
