So they decided NOT to release stuff at PAX... either that means that A) Penny Arcade Asked them that B) They were concerned for the security of their staff, or C) they're not liking Penny Arcade anymore because of some comments earlier by him haha.

Personally I think it's a bit of B & C lol.Image IPB

I actually think they might have been concerned for their security too...not that anyone would have done anything.
But now they won't even answer questions about it. Don't see the point of holding a panel if the main problem is going to be ignored.

I feel like we've been trying to explain things to a 5 year old who has his hands covering his ears and talking about something completely different...:?

come now tami you should know by now we are the children and the adults are going to explain to us what we dont understand.......... ya right, im no longer upset or angry, im now a consumer who has been misselled a franchise under false advertisment

and i plan to stay in the line

*sighs* I'm back, partially, I'm at my classes, but I'm feeling like carp... I swear if I have to sit through a super 2 hour long lecture, I'm going to do go insane... On that note, what's happened in the past 4 hours? Beyond everything that blew up when the announcement was first posted on here.

They say they won't be addressing the DLC at PAX. Go figure. Sure do hope people keep calm and civil

@DerrickLAFilm it is true that no one starves etc. All that is already implied in the current end. DLC will clarify.

Really? It was implied? I must be a ****ing idiot, cause I didn't get that implication, at all....

Nothing good

Apparently the panel at PAX is not going to talk about any current issues that's been discussed here.

It's just makes my day more depressing by the minute.  I can't believe this is happening.Image IPB

Somebody else beat me to the news.  Damn, this thread moves fast!

Well, all I can say is "good luck with that, Bioware."

I know things don't look good right now, but ask yourselfs. what would Shepard do? Shepard wouldn't give up and neither should we. We must hold the line.

Further discussion is pointless guys. They dont give a damn about us. They assume we will buy their games anyway. They are not afraid. They do not care. A perfect universe, a perfect game, totally ruined. So f sad :(

My ship powers up the engines, preparing to leave the line. I aint gonna sit and hope its raining when someone spits on me.

The only good thing of all this pile of dino poo is that i donated to the kids. I just hope they will play games that are made by people who are more gamers than businessmen. Bioware lost its way.

Constant hissing or whistling any time they try to talk would suffice. It'd be a clear message and look funny on YouTube :P

Although, I do like the idea of everyone just sitting there with their ams crossed in complete silence. I think that would be funny too.

Yes, hissing, in line with http://www.youtube.c...19ahNyM3I#t=58s just remember to bring your snakes.

I already see how this is going to play in the gaming media:

"Those whiny entitled whining whiners don't like what Bioware is doing? They've given them what they want! There's no pleasing children!"

Know what, though? We're complaining because Bioware hasn't given us what they promised.

Fixed that up a bit for ya.

Know what's a bad business decision? Not providing the product that your customers want. Because the next time you come out with a new product, you'll find you have no customers left.

Best quote there so far is:

It's odd that a company defends thier decision based on artistic
integrity while lacking the actual integrity to live up to all thier
prerelease claims.

By someone whose name seems to be Klingon.

This. Just THIS.

The artistic integrity excuse is BS.

I still can't figure what topics are going to be discussed tomorrow.
Will they just show up and ask for our favourite moment?

A bad ending can make a great series fade into obscurity. I hope this isn't the fate of mass effect.

Bioware released a message to Retake today. It was heart felt and to the point.

I think is is deserving of the current atmosphere lol:

consumerist.com/2012/04/congratulations-ea-you-are-the-worst-company-in-america-for-2012.html

"Oh well, Worst Company In America 2012 is officially in the books. All that's left to do is send off the Golden Poo to EA.

Traditionally, the Poo has been delivered on its little red pillow. But this year, we'll give EA three different color options for its pillow, though in the end it's still the same old Poo."

Or maybe Your soul is not artistic enough to understand this sophisticated hint, that crew won't starve since they've got tons of wierd plants all over crash site? <_< After a few weeks of explosive diarrhea the crew will be just fine...

Yeah it's going to be so easy to ignore the room full of people that DO want to discuss it though.  NOT!

This is where my prior guess of "removing guests by labelling them as 'disturbing' things" will come into play I bet.

God I hope someone gets it all on film for those of us who can't be there to stir the pot in person.

Wow. Well played Bioware. The naysayers that were anti-Retake are now heralding that "you won. stop complaining." And because the DLC will be free, we will really look "whiny and entitled" if we retort that we're still not happy. *sigh*

I'll continue holding the line with you all, but I fear we've been outsmarted. :-/

Know what's an even worse business decision? Actually providing what your customers want... but then not telling them. Instead, you provide them with vague statements and non-information that allows them to think you haven't provided what they want.

Which is the best-case scenario, here.

This time around, yes. But they've really damaged their customer base, and that's going to hurt their bottom line the next time they release something.

Then there is the whole Levo/Dextro thing. Either Garrus and Tali will starve or all the other organic crewmembers will...
