Or maybe Your soul is not artistic enough to understand this sophisticated hint, that crew won't starve since they've got tons of wierd plants all over crash site? <_< After a few weeks of explosive diarrhea the crew will be just fine...

Met another "But it's their art, they don't owe you anything" defender over at ONTD, and God, I am too pissed off to argue. I rather not, lest I do (write) something I regret...

Okay, time for the really long post I've been thinking up since this morning:

First off.  Once again, you people are crazy.. in an awesome kind of way.. I couldn't think of anyone I'd rather hold the line with.

Secondly.  Stop.
Seriously.. just stop... that's right, take a second, take a break, step back from the line, take a look at what we've done.

You have scared Electronic Arts... the largest gaming conglomerate on the -planet-.  The ones who have frogwalked entire awesome companies to their graves..  You have forced them to rethink future plans.  You've made them accelerate plans to try to consolidate their supply/retail chain.

They want you to buy stuff from Origin.  They want you to stop buying from Gamestop but not now.. because Gamestop is 15% of their gross annual revenue.  We have enough people they are concerned about SECURITY at PAX.. the largest gaming convention in Boston.  They're concerned about revenue, sales, enough that they told Bioware to fix it, and their co-founder made a public statement that they would.

If you want to hurt them, don't buy from Origin, don't buy from them.

I'll explain what I'm going to be doing now.  I won't be preordering from Bioware again.  I have preordered one game from Maxis, Simcity 5.  I won't be buying any DLC from Electronic Arts until I've played this DLC.  Should this DLC satisfy me, and really this is what I asked for... I would have liked the Indoctrination Theory endings... Those are pretty much the full Bioware loves me ending.. but if Bioware just gives me some ending cutscenes then they still gave me what I asked for... I'm not happy with the response, or the, frankly, false statements from some of the producers over the ending during prerelease interviews.

Due to those and the response from the media I will not be viewing IGN, or preordering Bioware games/EA games in the future.  My compromise is I'm not full out boycotting them, and Gamestop to force them to change the endings... though if I have any derogatory statements towards the community I may still end up going that route.

I will download the ending DLC.. I will not complain about the ending unless it destroys the continuity even further.  I'm HOPING, and it's a slim hope, that they'll be giving the indoctrination theory as an alternate path in the ending.. it's an extended cut as they call it.. well extended cuts can change the ending, we've seen it in movies.. so all hope is not lost at this point.  I will NOT purchase another EA product UNTIL I have downloaded the DLC.. this means no more Sims 3 downloads.. I will not be renewing my SWTOR subscription until I've got the DLC in my hands.  This is my way of saying "Bioware I don't trust your business management any longer".  They can earn that trust back but they've lost it through various actions this past month.

I encourage you all to check in regularly.  Let them know you disagree with their position, they still can change things you know.. they've announced a very vague ending at this point.. so they could still add a LOT of options and even gameplay to the ending.. it's free, costs them to distribute, costs us nothing to play it.

Above all, stay civil..  Freaking out, threatening people, that's the last thing to do at this point as it'll just show the world that we're not going to be happy regardless.. we WILL be happy, we'll remain civil customers, we will have our voices heard, and we'll keep pressing until we have 100% satisfaction.  If this were GM, this dealership would have lost its Certification already with all the people not "Completely Satisfied" with their service.  Don't let them pressure you into compromise if you don't want it.. but if you do, don't be afraid to at least admit it and be happy with what you've got.

Hold the line, I know I will be,

First of all they put this out the day before PAX and now it can't be discussed at PAX. Clear indication that Bioware does not care about us. I hope those who are fortunate and I really wish I was one to attend tomorrow remain civil and polite but make sure it is raised.

You know, this is just... really disheartening. I've already decided to not renew my Old Republic account because of how Bioware has handled this entire situation, but looking ahead at other titles they probably have coming out... I doubt I'm going to bother.

I'm going to get what enjoyment I can out of ME3 while I can, but I'm not paying a penny more. I had really high hopes for the Dragon Age franchise too, and while DA2 was rushed to market and largely unfinished feeling, I thought that maybe they could do something great.

The ending of Mass Effect 3 being such absolute hogwash (and the resulting poor handling of their response) has broken my suspension of disbelief regarding the company.

A bad ending can make a great series fade into obscurity. I hope this isn't the fate of mass effect.

Well, it depends on you but...think about it.
I prefer to play games with a plot. If I'm goin' to play three games with the knowledge that whatever actions I'll take, in the end I'll eventually fail. To me that's not helping to enjoy the story...

Wow. Well played Bioware. The naysayers that were anti-Retake are now heralding that "you won. stop complaining." And because the DLC will be free, we will really look "whiny and entitled" if we retort that we're still not happy. *sigh*

I'll continue holding the line with you all, but I fear we've been outsmarted. :-/

I'm thinking thats what they did as well not sure of what we can do at this point besides not download or buy anything from them

I romanced Garrus in my playthrough, so they don't even have that. Garrus is probably heartbroken.

Why did Garrus leave me anyways... Garrus, why!!!

Didn't you see there were two moons on that planet? You should know that means this particular vegetation is Levo/Dextro friendly! Silly you for not picking up on that!

I game on a PC and ME3 was one the titles that went on my list of reasons for building it. But it was short, and hollow, and then this disrespect?

It's not just their own bottom line they are messing with. What about the people who use titles to drive the sales of high end gaming PCs and X-Box?

Just a staggering level of what? I can't think of a word for it right now...

So I decided to take a quick look through that's included with the collector's edition, when I came across this:

One of the plans on the drawing board was to have the Illusive Man turn into a Reaper creature for the final battle. Eventually, this plan was scrapped, since we wanted to give players the satisfaction of fighting a character they know rather than a random creature.

What fight exactly?
