So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Feels oddly appropriate. And yes, I am am replaying ME1. Ignorance is bliss. Especially while riding a Mako.

So I decided to take a quick look through that's included with the collector's edition, when I came across this:One of the plans on the drawing board was to have the Illusive Man turn into a Reaper creature for the final battle. Eventually, this plan was scrapped, since we wanted to give players the satisfaction of fighting a character they know rather than a random creature.
What fight exactly?
The one with Marauder Shields...oh wait

Why, the battle of wits with TIM at the Citadel. Or maybe not? Who knows... speculation is the name of the game
Edit: Dammit, I forgot M. Shields. I'm so sorry!

Please anyone going to PAX don't do anything that we're going to regret. Don't lose your cool. Remember, don't compare them to Hitler, don't scream, don't threaten grievous bodily harm. And be ready to be disappointed or by Bioware. They're probably going to try to move on to their next big thing anyway.
Regardless of what happens at PAX, nothing changes, they'll still do what they're doing. Frankly, if someone jumped up on stage, broke Hudson's nose, slipped a red-emblazoned armband on him, and then spray painted said logo on the wall behind him, nothing would change. It doesn't matter how much we raise our voices any more, or how much we send them twitter messages or hate-mail. We've passed that stage. Now we're onto the next stage. Telling them we have a problem with it hasn't worked, now it's all down to numbers. If/once they realise the immense dent in their sales and profits, they'll realise that they have to do something. If they lose their profit, they lose their budget too, which means less equipment to produce a game, which means a worse game, which starts the entire cycle again.
EAware have put themselves on a railroad track, it doesn't matter who is on the train or who doesn't want to be on it, in the end, they'll keep doing this until they lose their profit from the industry, then either they'll try desperately to appease the fanbase that has disowned them, or EA will toss them to one side and carry on with the row of other companies that they can ruin for the fanbase. Fortunately, this will then warn every other game developer to never do this, and the future of the game industry will be saved, and not only this, but it'll ensure that more companies do not join EAs list of cannon fodder, by which I mean they won't work with them, saving the game industry again.
Bioware are just one of the many pawns EA has at its disposal, EA will use them, and the instant they have served their purpose and are of no further use, they will disband Bioware entirely and get as much money as they can from the remains, and poor people like Merizan will be put out of the job, and with their service record with the failed company, paired with the current economy, it's likely they'll never find another job in this area. I know I'd trust new blood more than I would someone who's already went under once.

This is all true but I wouldn't excuse Bioware entirely. At the end of the day EA may have rushed it out before it was completely done but Bioware wrote the thing. They have creative control and this is what they came up with. EA only provides resources and sets deadlines but it was Waters and Hudson who wrote the end.

Okay, time for the really long post I've been thinking up since this morning:
First off. Once again, you people are crazy.. in an awesome kind of way.. I couldn't think of anyone I'd rather hold the line with.
Secondly. Stop.
Seriously.. just stop... that's right, take a second, take a break, step back from the line, take a look at what we've done.
You have scared Electronic Arts... the largest gaming conglomerate on the -planet-. The ones who have frogwalked entire awesome companies to their graves.. You have forced them to rethink future plans. You've made them accelerate plans to try to consolidate their supply/retail chain.
*snip*
Above all, stay civil.. Freaking out, threatening people, that's the last thing to do at this point as it'll just show the world that we're not going to be happy regardless.. we WILL be happy, we'll remain civil customers, we will have our voices heard, and we'll keep pressing until we have 100% satisfaction. If this were GM, this dealership would have lost its Certification already with all the people not "Completely Satisfied" with their service. Don't let them pressure you into compromise if you don't want it.. but if you do, don't be afraid to at least admit it and be happy with what you've got.
Hold the line, I know I will be,
Computim out.
Pretty much this
