Here here, Computim. I was extremely disappointed in the endings because of the plotholes, the lack of clarity and the lack of closure. I wasn't thrilled about the AI kid either but those things were at the top of my list. Right now, I'm just going to wait and see what these endings entail. If they still damage the universe as I felt they did before, that will be the end of Mass Effect for me. If not, huzzah!
Yes, my faith in Bioware will be shaken because I will personally feel they failed to properly close out the epic story they created. This is no different then saying, "Man I don't know if I'm going to see the next Steven Spielberg film in the theaters because the last few were just awful." (Spielberg's just an example, I don't know if his last few have really been awful.)
I have also been upset with some of these past quotes I've seen from developers, such as the ABC ending. I'm not forgetting that. There has just been a lot of doom and gloom surrounding this announcement but a wise man named Eric Idle once said, "Always look on the bright side of life." One reason I refuse to give up all hope is because I remember that up until that last 10 minutes, we got a fantastic game.
Now, I'm not saying the revised ending will be work. I don't know. I'm still skeptical after what we got. I just hope we can keep things civil and not freak out too much until we get a bit more information. After all, what do we know? We know there will be an epilogue, yes? What will be in the epilogue? Who knows? We'll see.
I just think it's ok to be skeptical but it's too early to condemn something we know very little about.

"So there you have it. Are we proud of the game we made and the team that
made it? Hell yes. Are we going to change the ending of the game? No."
Welp, goodbye Bioware. Nice knowin' ya.
Best of luck to those of you who will continue to hold the line; you've got my respect
Who wrote the above quote? Because that would p*ss me off royally.
*hugs both of you* we'll all get through this together though it will be hardKaiserinKai wrote...

http://blog.bioware....3-extended-cut/ - the FAQ on the new "extended cut"
Hey Comp... *sighs* so how are you feeling after the storm of texts and what not from earlier?
Hey! I posted a big long thing a couple pages back that explains it a lot better.. as for the texts, it amused most of my colleagues at work, and enamoured me with the Social Media person we have there. Just happy I don't get charged by the incoming message lol. I guarantee I didn't wake up expecting it, honestly I think someone at EA released it accidentally before the official announcement was supposed to come out later today or tomorrow. It just didn't seem organized enough of a release and I think we kinda surprised them with how quickly we all came together immediately after it lol.

Is it just me or does this "extended cut" sound like a lie? Or rather, that it won't fix any of the issues presented, it just a way for BW to remove some of the pressure.

basically what i imagine is going on at Bioware right now
side note- trying to be/stay happy has never been so hard
I see. There is no mistaking that. Well, Goodbye Bioware. I'll take my business elsewhere. Bioware obviously doesn't need dummies like me mucking up their artistic vision. I'm not interested in your free cutscenes. Frankly I hope you go out out of business for your steadily deteriorating product quality. The customer does not owe you the company anything especially not my good feelings or vibes. I will now specifically look for the lead writers on games I intend to buy and if Huson or Waters are anywhere near those products then I won't touch them.Nex_Legis wrote...

I wonder how Bioware feels knowing they're more hated than George W Bush by the younger generations at this point..

@DerrickLAFilm it is true that no one starves etc. All that is already implied in the current end. DLC will clarify.
Really? It was implied? I must be a ****ing idiot, cause I didn't get that implication, at all....
