Response from the Gamers was swift overwhelming communication networks and bringing to life what, up until now, had been a quiet but tense stalemate.
Doomsayers are already pointing to this as the possible end of the world predicted by the Mayans stating that the continued escalation may result in an all out nuclear war destroying the internet and bringing about the end of civillization.
In London, the secretive MI-5 agency refused to comment on reports that they had dispatched a 007 agent to the field to assist the Gamers, stating only their usual "We can not confirm or deny any ongoing operations in service of Her Majesty."
In America, even the presidential campaign came to a momentary halt as candidates were heard exclaiming "If I had 58% of my poll respondants hating anything I'd defintiely not support it!"
Australians were reportedly preparing a shipment of dropbears to send to Bioware's Command HQ at last report.
Several Canadian Tim Hortons outlets reportedly refused to serve anyone claiming to have liked the ending but this was quickly refuted by all sane parties as it would be considered 'far too harsh and impolite".
We'll keep you updated as Day 28 of the Mass Revolution continues.. here in the Battlespace.

Same thing, but in reverse for me.
Also, that Tali sig you have further corroborates my point.

Vader became Anakin once more when he couldn't bear watching Darth Sidious torture his son to death. Snape worked against Voldemort after he killed Lily Potter. Both died in the end but redeemed themselves.

In my imagination, after the reeapers are destroyed, Shepard will be sitting on a pile of rubble looking at all the death and destruction, she will be feeling really low as there is no movement, is everyone dead?, close in camera a shot, a hand is placed on her Shoulder from behind, she turns to see Anderson and the remains of her squad "Not everyone says Anderson"; they all start walking back to the last checkpoint and you hear Shepard say to Anderson "Request light duty for a while sir"ClixWizard wrote...
I'll just imagine that I got the ending of sitting on a sunny beach having drinks with Garrus and Liara on Shepards lap.

"We're sticking with the ending."
"Ok, why?"
"Artistic vision."
Then for the love of the goddess, TELL US what you envisioned. Just make a blog detailing what went on in your heads. Because the ending available now is a plotholey mess, feeling very detached from the rest of the story.
Why are they bothering to go through the hassle of making an 'extended' edition at all if nothing changes from a gameplay perspective? Just have one or two of the writers come out and say 'We felt it was important the Normandy left Earth at the end because ____.
I don't care if they fill it in with 'it was a good time for dramatic tension'. If these artistic reasons are so vitally important to the company that they are willing to risk customers over them, then at least tell us why.

I never purchased the "From Ashes" DLC.
I was going to if they fixed things and play through the entire game again.
But now I can safely say after they lied to everyone, and basically showed they could care less about the fans, I'm not buying anything else from Bioware. No DLC, no new games.
I'm done.
I have seen this message alot today, Im on the verge of doing the same. Will wait to play this DLC however & go from there

I'm gonna check out this DLC when it comes out, but my reaction to their announcement today was disappointment and I felt more depressed than I did when I woke up this morning. I'm glad to see it's going to be free, but since it's expanding on a failure of an ending, I have very little hope. The little hope I have will keep me around until the release, but if it makes no impact on me, I'm done.
That's exactly how I feel about it as well. I would love it if they could salvage Mass Effect, but I'm afraid that this DLC just won't do it.

A story has been thought through to the end when it has taken the worst possible turn.
