Really, your proud?? You just lost me Bioware.

I have a long tirade here, but I think I will sum up with "THIS HURTS ME."

I can't wait to see what happens tomorrow at PAX.  They deserve whatever comments they get.  

Yes, I am typing angry right now.

Except in Fable 2 such an ending actually made sense. The citadel mcguffin was a giant world changing magic calibration machine and the whole game had been about stopping the badguy from using it. Theresa who had been introduced an entire game earlier (amazing considering the Fable games don't have a single narrative thread going through all of them, really) stood in for the starchild, so her appearance there and possession of the mcguffin actually made sense and her semi-betrayal actually had weight and gravity.

And the sacrifices of the people on the way made sense, just like they had before the ending in ME3, because a despicable tyrant was targetting you and they were collateral damage. Add to that that while there was no final bossfight at least Stephen Fry shooting the badguy unceremoniously in the face mid-monologue was pretty hilarious, and the endings didn't all suck. In fact, whether you wanted to be nice, a jerk, or somewhere in the middle, they all worked out really well for the Hero.

... Wow Bioware, you managed to make an ending far inferior to Fable 2's. And this is the game where you can interact with people by farting at them. You deserve some golfclapping.

I never finished Fable 2. The whole "everytime you die, you get a new scar" annoyed me. And then they got rid of that in Fable 3. And in Fable 3, even with all the annoying bugs, we still can get many endings. Better than the ending of ME3.

Wow. Never thought I would say that.

and then with a new DLC they took away the scar problem by having a place where you could buy anti-scar potions and they even made killing your dog easier as you could do a thing to get the dog back in said DLC

Asked the ME twitter feed if it is true we'd get banned from Origin for modding ME3. Because I would make my own damn ending....No reply.

Here's one for you despite the ending being a  cliffhanger... 13-2 was a more satisfying experience in totally then ME 3. Dispite the cliffhanger  the end it still had an ENDING the wrapped up the intail conflict at the start of the game.

See? This is what we call fan service. Every company does something...they add new endings, give more options, get rid of annoying scars...pleasing your customers is rule #1 of a succesful business <_<

I replayed ME1 and ME2 in the hopes we'd get a new ending for 3 yet we don't and I honestly don't car enough to play ME3 or buy any DLC

Note how they felt the need to repeat no less than three times that they weren't going to change the endings. They already knew what the majority wanted, and they knew what the reaction was going to be (see their statement that they're not discussing the endings at PAX). That said, I don't know what they're thinking.

well - I assume he was talking about the witcher? (if not, then i got the wrong posting...i was just looking this one up because i was really interested if there was something along the lines of DA:O and MASS EFFECT out there, but that does not seem the case, also i do like the witcher games (got both of them), still they do not hold a candle to the older bioware games (KOTOR, DA:O and ME1 and 2) and of course they are different so a comparison is moot IMHO)

well, I have not read the announcement, but it seems they screwed us over (that is what i get from the postings here at least!)...well i am about to deinstall that freaking game, deinstall their spying software (origin!), toss the game to the darkest place in my room and forget i ever liked bioware (and EA...also i had my reservations about the later, after they started throwing one battlefield after the other on the market, without there being ANY INNOVATION AT ALL) and i will most likely not buy their future games (i will look them up in games magazines....maybe not even that, they just punched us big time IMHO just for their egos and their wanna-be art (hell a painting from a three year old is art compared to these endings...hell the inmate of a mental-ward could come up with a better one!) and their lust for money (hell, i just remembered, i started disliking EA even earlier, after they had to "ruin" WESTWOOD - which in the end ruined command and conquer...i just knew it, that they would screw it up!))

hell, it may be bad form, but i ask all of you here to never buy any games from those *put in some swear word/expletive* till they resolve this like reasonable adults - not like petulant children that didn't get their sweets...hell, the reactions show me, that reading the statement will probably make me wanna puke so thank you for a good time bioware, but like my ex-girlfriend, i do not appreciate liars and cheats (you told us in your announcements before launch that the game would be sooooo glorious (endings, choice etc.) and what did we get? - a reasonable good game, that had a few in between glorious moments (mordin's sacrifice for example), but nothing glorious about it...hell this game should have had the "wow - cool, classy, incredible"-effect (making us speechless) that avatar had in the cinema with the good use of the 3D-Technology, but no, it was - well done - standard fare with an ending that was like eating cookies and then drinking sour milk so, no thanks!

But that's corporate suicide. Just saying "Okay. Clearly we screwed up. This is what we were thinking. This is what we're going to do to fix it." would have avoided this whole mess. Doing what they've done just results in lost customers, lost sales, and being chopped up and sold for scrap by EA. It's irrational.

Tweet the EA feed.. I'm sure if you word it right "@EA Will modding games off the Origin Platform get you banned?" will be replied to pretty quick.. they don't want to be known as the Digital Delivery Platform that destroys the entire purpose of PC Gaming over Consoles (mods)

it was in a few of the various modding threads about a day or two ago...I am on a 360 so really do not care about modding but I am sure if you search modding and look for threads that have the bioware logo you should find it pretty easily...it was a very definitive answer though...they do not want people giving themselves a competitive advantage in MP so anything thats mods in MP gets banned, SP tey do not care about

Am I the only one who have all enthusiasm for gaming evaporates? It's difficult for me to even open up my computer now, reminding of how much joy it used to bring me by playing... (I can't even stand saying the game of this title..) Now I prefer to surf up the net using my phone instead..

I am not sure how I will feel if the endings were already ready to go and BW just sat on them because of rushing the game out or wanting to make more publicity for themselves or what. I have a feeling that these endings were already done, they just thought it would be either cute or a time saver to give us the FUBARed ending.
