Am I the only one who have all enthusiasm for gaming evaporates? It's difficult for me to even open up my computer now, reminding of how much joy it used to bring me by playing... (I can't even stand saying the game of this title..) Now I prefer to surf up the net using my phone instead..

I've been listening to Flogging Molly's "So Sail On" in remembrance of the good old Mass Effect and crying for the last half hour.

Well tomorrow going be hell, pro-enders are going to rub their superiority in our faces, and Mass Effect would quickly become the biggest joke in gaming history.  Honestly, I thought Star Wars was the last disappointment in my life...now this happens.  Makes me want to reconsider my hobby a bit.  A shame really; this could of been better...but...oh well...sa la vie.  What can you do?  Image IPB

See you all tomorrow...or not at all...or w/e.

I feel ya. I'm forcing myself to firing up The Show and tinkering with baseball. I'd much rather be firing up a playthrough of ME3. Unfortunately, the world is as it is. So I pour some rum.

Just started Origin. They're hosting a free weekend for SWTOR. Desperate much?

Heh...I'm just sorry I spent the money on it originally.

Great game, but too bad the creators have lost all cred with me.

Is the panel actually tomorrow, or is it Saturday? Don't see what it could be tomorrow, looking at the schedule.... I just want to see if the panel consists of them being repeatedly asked about the endings, even though they've said they won't discuss it. Might as well try, right? And if nothing, at least have the panel be for naught on its original purpose.

Naw, they can ruin a company for me but not a whole genre or platform. I've been soured on BW/EA and haven't even logged into TOR. I've told my guild I haven't quit yet but it's getting to that point. I'm still hanging on the edge but I'm pretty close to cancelling my subscription and avoiding anything with the EA label.

But does that mean I'm soured towards games altogether? Not at all. I've been playing Minecraft mostly but I have plenty of old games on my shelf that I still enjoy firing up now and then. (If I like a game, I never part with it, no matter how many times I beat it.) There also plenty of games I didn't buy that I was interested in trying and can probbaly get at a discount now. Of course there are a few upcoming games I'm looking forward to the release of so no matter what the outcome of this EA fiasco is for me, there are still many places for me to spend my money and be happy doing so. =)

This -> Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition <- Is what a gaming company should be doing.

Watch it, then go buy The Witcher 2 for PC, of Pre-Order the EE for consoles (PC versions can download the EE files, without having to buy the new EE).

Go, my children. Watch, and be in awe of true amazing story telling and gameplay.

So, now that we know there's no end to this downward spiral into artistic horse manure - who's excited for Kinect Mass Effect Dancing Shepard?!

I hope a lot of people will see through that though. Don't be lured to the EA van offering you free candy.

Hey Major... what the hack are you doing taking over from Tami?

Tami was over 'interogating' some rogue indoctrinated Reaper husk that strayed over our way.. she was convinced he was a Bioware employee.. I don't think he made it through the questioning. Image IPB

I really like that developer company and the Witcher games.
I have it on PC but am thinking about getting it on my 360 as well just to further support them.

i hope every fan of me3 that goes to pax will brow beat them with the question of the extended ending that doesnt fix anything just to show them we are NOT giving up
they think a free dlc to shut us up is good enough I DONT THINK SO
the ending was crap and the aint going to fix it because of artistic interigty
this is a product you sell not art if product is broken you FIX IT
and now they are going to explain it to us like we are idiots, that is what is basiclly being said
extending the same bulls*** ending is not fixing the bad product and yes thats what me3 is product
u sold it as such, and now that people have filed a complant agianst your product you say its art
I DONT THINK SO
and yall really expect us to swallow this extended ending that explains the bs.
my faith in BW is dead all because they cant admit they messed up and the ending did destroy the ENTIRE series i hope people still hold the line just to show BW and EA that this is totally uexceptiable
artistic integrity bah it is a product we are the consumre who has bought a broken item
fix the damn ending the right and best way

Did Bioware really think that releasing this statement would make things better for them? That we'd be happy with it? What can they possibly be thinking?

I think at this point pride has really gotten to them. Theyve been on the up and up for so long with rave reviews for their games (Baldurs gate, Jade emp, Kotor ect ect." That they've let it get to their heads and refuse to see that they are wrong here.

hm...

they may be desperate (I HOPE they are - because they will have to relent, if they really are, if we are not going away!)

still, i have friends that will try out SW:TOR and i will not tell them: NO! - why not?

Simple: Why should i stop them from having a little fun (they just want to see - one of them allready told me he just wants to have seen it, as he is waiting for Guild Wars 2...as am I ATM because of this ME3-Mess...i hoped to have 5 play-throughs at least, with some of my different sheppards <_< but i guess i will not be doing that...well strike the "guess" because that is as sure as hell, even if ME3 is the last game on this globe, i will not play that, if the ending stays like this, i just can't...walking to certain doom is not fun...how did someone on this very thread say:

It is like sitting on death-row which IMHO is no fun at all!)

greetings LAX

They're doing one every week in April according to their marketing crap.  They're really pushing SWTOR too, their investors conference call gave a bunch of numbers about the launch.. just over 1.7 million subscribers.. (I know I won't be one at the end of this, and I'm taking at least 2 of my friends subscriptions with me - You're welcome to confirm this yourselves Bioware, check my credit card linking Image IPB)

I love Star Wars, I loved SWTOR... I no longer love Bioware..  I can't believe I used to want to work there Image IPB

Sounds good. I'll buy it just because I like the game.... Ol also to see if I missed anything.
Looking like a good couple of months. This game and Max Payne 3 in May, means good times ahead.

It will take my mind off of  this whole situation that's for sure.

Know what the worst part of this whole thing is? All of the writers who were shut out of providing input on the ending (which we now know was all of them except for the lead)...bioware keeps saying they don't want to change the ending in order to preserve the "intent of the writing team.". They keep using the word "team" when in reality the real team was shut out. So all the poor writers who were sitting there with *palmface* when they learned what the endings would be, they see themselves getting blamed for something they had nothing to do with, and probably even tried to prevent.
