Tami was over 'interogating' some rogue indoctrinated Reaper husk that strayed over our way.. she was convinced he was a Bioware employee.. I don't think he made it through the questioning.

I really like that developer company and the Witcher games.
I have it on PC but am thinking about getting it on my 360 as well just to further support them.

I want to give them money, but the Enhanced Edition update is free
Looks like I will have to buy a copy for my brother, just so they can haz more money.

 

So WB games is their publisher... from what I saw  in the video... thats good. They have handeled Rocksteady and  the Arkham Series very well.   

I will be getting  The Witcher 2 and the 17th. I  heard it was coming to console so I waited.

Apperantly they are NOT.

Give us those damn 16 - sixteen - 10+6 endings we were promised. And have them reflect on the choises we made.
I personaly will never settle for less.

We asked for new endings that made sense. Which they have completely ignored. Therefor, our complaints are fully in-line with what we have wanted all along. Unlike the ME3 ending, we can stay on course for the entirety of our "story".

Except in Fable 2 such an ending actually made sense. The citadel mcguffin was a giant world changing magic calibration machine and the whole game had been about stopping the badguy from using it. Theresa who had been introduced an entire game earlier (amazing considering the Fable games don't have a single narrative thread going through all of them, really) stood in for the starchild, so her appearance there and possession of the mcguffin actually made sense and her semi-betrayal actually had weight and gravity.

And the sacrifices of the people on the way made sense, just like they had before the ending in ME3, because a despicable tyrant was targetting you and they were collateral damage. Add to that that while there was no final bossfight at least Stephen Fry shooting the badguy unceremoniously in the face mid-monologue was pretty hilarious, and the endings didn't all suck. In fact, whether you wanted to be nice, a jerk, or somewhere in the middle, they all worked out really well for the Hero.

... Wow Bioware, you managed to make an ending far inferior to Fable 2's. And this is the game where you can interact with people by farting at them. You deserve some golfclapping.

Agreed.

Fable 2's choice was interesting and deep.  (do you save your family or thousands of others.  Hell they could have made it even BETTER by making it so that if you take the money option you can save MILLIONS but be thought of as a monster, the ultimate renegade.)

The problem with ME 3's ending isn't choices (although they are rammed down our throat with the skill and care of a baboon) its the logic behind them.

Furthermore, although I didn't WANT to sacrifice my Shepard there was a perfectly good place to do so RIGHT BESIDE ANDERSON.  Why didn't Bioware just use that?

Simple: Why should i stop them from having a little fun (they just want to see - one of them allready told me he just wants to have seen it, as he is waiting for Guild Wars 2...as am I ATM because of this ME3-Mess...i hoped to have 5 play-throughs at least, with some of my different sheppards <_< but i guess i will not be doing that...well strike the "guess" because that is as sure as hell, even if ME3 is the last game on this globe, i will not play that, if the ending stays like this, i just can't...walking to certain doom is not fun...how did someone on this very thread say:

Oh yeah let them have fun if they want to, by all means. I just mean some of those who are upset with the endings situation dont see this as a "we are extending you guys an olive branch" attempt. Some will jump on this thinking it means something when all its doing is trying to distance them from the ME3 situation.

This is proof, imo, that EA's policies have taken a firm root in Bioware.

I beta tested for C&C 4...closed beta. At first, I was excited; I loved C&C. What I got to play wasn't C&C...and when I went to the forum to offer my feedback, I found I was not the only one. 98% of the beta testers said the game was horrible, and that EA needed to haul it back and change it.

Now, some of the threads were basically flames...but a lot of them were positive, and they stated, as I stated above, that the game needed to be hauled back into development, and gave very concise reasons why.

What did EA do? It closed every thread that was negative, and left the ones that were positive (and hardly active, as some only had about 10 posts a day). Every time a new negative thread popped up, it got shut down almost immediately.

Even one of EA's forum mods came out and said that any threads that weren't positive about C&C 4 were going to be locked out and shut down.

End result? EA didn't listen. EA released C&C 4. Within a month, C&C 4 was down to $29.99 Canadian after having started out at the usual $59.99.

Also I cancelled my pre-order of the collector's edition, gave the reason why, and got my money back.

Bioware is now, looking at what's been placed before us, doing the exact same thing...at least they aren't closing out the 'we don't like this' threads. But they are ignoring the voice of 'this is horrible, it needs to be fixed'.

I have the Witcher  2, then Darksiders 2, and if can get my hands on 3DS  Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance  the bridge beween 2 and 3.  Man - I'm not looking back ..  AC  3 in October. 

You know maybe instead of being depressed about this you said take this time to branch out. Bioware is not the only gaming Company out there that make a good story and something that is entertaining.  This is a lesson that Bioware is going to learn the hard way...  oh how humpty dumpty is going to fall.

Actually I was the same way.  (and still am to a degree) When I finished Mass Effect after the shock wore off, All I could think about was how much of my life I WASTED playing this game (and by extension other games), how much thought and emotion I put into this.  And how there was absolutely no payoff whatsoever.  It made me seriously consider if I wanted to continue to game at all.

Yep, they lost me. I'm still in this fight, but until they actually listen to what we are saying, I'm not spending another cent on an EA product.

Maybe the extended edition will change my mind, but I highly doubt it. You can't put salt on a pile of garbage and expect me to like it.
