Straight from the horses mouth:

"So there you have it. Are we proud of the game we made and the team that made it? Hell yes. Are we going to change the ending of the game? No. Do we appreciate the passion and listen to the feedback delivered to us by our fans? Very much so and we are responding."

I do believe I'm done with Bioware and most likely EA once and for all.  The rest of you have my sincerest gratitude.  I could not have asked for such a large consumer movement to display our disapleasure with this entertainment industry entity.  Sadly, they have yet to understand the entire picture we've been trying to paint for them for some time. Good luck in all you do.  I'll be forever holding the line by witholding my purchases.  PAX is going to be interesting...

@Feraiin I realy do hope it works out for you just two quetions though;
are you happy commiting genocide just to speak to your crewmates especially after reuniting the quarian and the geth on ranoch?
and how would you motivate yourself to do multiple replays/buy dlc when you know you have to become a war crimenal to finish no mater what you choose?

Like I said, depends on what the extended cut will yield. Right now, I am not happy. How I motivate myself to do a replay? Well, up until the thunder-run towards the beam, everything is pretty f*ing epic, so that helps.

So no, I am not happy. If I will be depends on the DLC. Of course the ending feels like crap when you think about the Quarian and Geth, or Wrex little babies on Tuchanka. I could have lived with Shep dead and even Spacekid if they didn't go and blew up the whole relay-system. Yeah, not happy with things right now.

And If this turns out to be what people fear it will be I'll gladly move on.

I'm just not going to let a game get me down for this long. And I am a horrible optimist on top of that ^^

i understand, my life still goes on, i go to work ,raise my kids and so on... but gaming is my main source of entertainment, (the only tv i watch is football) the world is not a nice place choices are hard but good does shine through, i to dont mind a dead shep or the spacekid but i would have liked to tell him no we shall do it our way then(depending on *war assets* have an ending, it would not take that much work considering.

i shall stay and fight for this franchise and future ones

Agreed, I don't like the ending. The big contradiction it is.
But I will continue playing the game (just not the ending), will continue playing and buying other games of theirs, but I'm afraid I'll enjoy the games a whole lot less...

Anyone got an idea on how I can get rid of the vile after-taste ME3's ending left me with?

I find it funny that people are always apologizing to or straight up thanking Jessica Merizan all the time. I'm not saying she deserves any criticism for what she does, but just that it's amusing how she somehow never recieves any, lol.

Play another game for some time. After the first days that I couldn't even touch any game and I was just lurking the forums, I have been playing Shogun 2 and Deus Ex: HR and it really helped me to almost forget about that goddamn ending haha.

Skyrim helped me through this difficult time. Nice simple and satifying all the time, much love to Bethesda.

Just read BioWare's message. Well it was fun while it lasted. All I can do is take my money else where. No more BioWare or EA.

Good luck to you - the fans - both those who hate the ending and like it.

Hold the line!

At this point, does watching that panel have any purpose?

I've been going from game to game for almost a month now and I'm still left with an empty feeling. I have just lost my drive for all gaming. Looking forward to the Witcher 2 though and hoping it can help me forget.

I was hoping it would have one of those live talk things so that I could spam them wiith questions about the ending to get across that this still isn't enough.

They have stated that they won't answer any questions about the ending, which leads me to believe they're going to pre-screen any questions they get anyways.

The crowd could get loud and messy though.

If they asked us to wait a whole year for either extra endings or an indoc ending etc I would be willing to wait. As long as ME gets the ending it deserves I would be willing to do anything.
