Need more EVE players. We got CCP restructured due to stupid choices they made, BioWare needs the same thing.

Mass Effect was their baby. What they have done to it is like grabbing that baby by the legs and swinging it around a room full of sharp objects, all the while screaming "lalalala cant hear you" with their eyes closed.

what gets me is that when bioware announced the extended cut EA's stock jumped UP 1.68% for the first time since the fluster cuck they started

Can someone please tell me what we know about the so called Extended cut?
I saw many posts talked about it but I missed the "announcement" since yesterday I was unable to visit BSN.

Thanks.

Thanks for the link....

So I believe I'll cease to consider myself a Mass Effect "enthusiast".
I recognize BW the right to create the Endings the like for their own work but I strongly believe the users have the right to "criticism".

Every single art is not alien to criticism. You made an original work, a book, a paint or a videogame, and the public decide if they like its quality.

Personally I think these endings ruined the Mass Effect series. I respect BW opinion and I hope everyone else will respect mine. I'll continue to play ME3 because a part from the endings, it's a good game but nothing more.

Unless the "extended cut" succeed in making these endings more "logic" I doubt I'll buy more products related to the series.
Sorry, but I believe even consumers have the right to invoke "integrity".

Thank You BW for all the good games and stories you made: I really enjoyed them but it seems nothing last for ever.

Maybe I'll change my mind in future. Currently these are my opinions on the matter.

Everything's better than the current ending, and this is actually very good.

I wonder...all this talk of "artistic integrity"...ME3s ending is an attack on my "intellectual integrity". As in, they are insulting my intelligence. Therefor, judging by the defense art has, the ending should be changed because intellectual integrity is the foundation of knowledge, understanding and discovery...a far more important aspect of humanity than "artistic integrity".

They've changed the way I look at everything in life. I haven't eaten for 3 days. Every time I make a sandwich I think of it as art. I can't possibly eat it, I respect my artistic integrity.

Bomb launcher...Manticore is the only bomber that can have both 3 torps fitted with a bomb launcher whilst having all parts active and online. Therefor, scorched earth. Use the bomb launcher, clear everything with-in 15kms of the initial explosion.

There's always the Manticore battery from WH40K.  It's the Random Hammer of God; its missile can either do one massive explosion, two massive explosions, or three massive explosions...or, according to the fluff, it can accidently trigger -all- its missiles at once and wipe out armies ^^

I'm wondering, in this thread, how many people are optimistic about the extended endings (even cautiously so)?

Is there anything to indicate that this will be anything beyond some cinematics and text screens? Nowhere did they make a single indication of gameplay or even basic interaction additions.

It's because of the fact that even at this point they can't give us a straight answer that I remain doubtful. They spent a lot of PR time in the last month deflecting questions of "alternate endings" DLC with, "I can't say, but we're listening to you feedback, and I think you're going to like it :)". And this BS is what we got :(

And now if you were to ask a question today about what this DLC offers outside an epilogue, the answer again is "I can't say, but be certain we took in all the fan feedback to make it. Give it a chance, I think you might like it :) :)" ..... :( :(... This is why I have little to no hope regarding this. If they at any point come out and straight forwardly mention that the game doesn't end at the choice of a primary colour, then I'll be excited... But they won't do it. Because they're not planning to.

That's the main issue with the "artist integrity" theory. Its supporters forget to mention the "audience" ( and I include in the general category reader, players, spectators etc) has an integrity too.

If the authors of an artistic work have the right to create the ending they like; the audience has the right to say "I don't like it" and they have the right to no buy future products from those authors.

This is not only how markets function, it's how democracy functions.

In few words: you have your rights and I have mine Image IPB.

Everyone spend their money for products they like. If I don't like something I don't buy it. Nothing personal and no offense intended.
