Is there anything to indicate that this will be anything beyond some cinematics and text screens? Nowhere did they make a single indication of gameplay or even basic interaction additions.

It's because of the fact that even at this point they can't give us a straight answer that I remain doubtful. They spent a lot of PR time in the last month deflecting questions of "alternate endings" DLC with, "I can't say, but we're listening to you feedback, and I think you're going to like it :)". And this BS is what we got

And now if you were to ask a question today about what this DLC offers outside an epilogue, the answer again is "I can't say, but be certain we took in all the fan feedback to make it. Give it a chance, I think you might like it :)" ..... ... This is why I have little to no hope regarding this. If they at any point come out and straight forwardly mention that the game doesn't end at the choice of a primary colour, then I'll be excited... But they won't do it. Because they're not planning to.

For me, it all depends on how it comes out.  That's why I wish they'd tell us exactly what they were adding...I could make a decision about it now rather than later.

That was my point. They don't want to tell us because they don't have anything positive to say. It's all just one giant delay tactic.

capcom cut off the endings and removed chapters 4,7 and 11 to sell as "True Ending Dlc" the chapters 4 and 7 are 800 points and the chapter 11 is 1200 points and the true ending is 2800 points.

you get to the ending without the DLC and it pops up "to see the ening buy the DLC" it shows you the release dates

Oooh I see, ha that's quite funny actually (in a bad way) I never really pay much attention to devs and such unless they royally f-up like BW and EA have done with ME3, or like Bethesda done with the frame rate issue on Skyrim for PS3 (they did eventually fix it right enough but they messed around for ages about it and their PR guy is a douche...*cough*)

Anyway I don't think this is what BW done, I just think they f-ed up.

Now I'm sure the pope and the church who commissioned the work would be rightfully ticked off. Having paid for a decent finish to the job, I'm certain he would have been ordered to complete the work he promised. I doubt his holding on to "artistic integrity" would have sufficed. The painting would have been changed, and not clarified either. An angel or two or some saint painted in a corner or beside the middle finger would not have satisfied his client either.

Yes, but Michelangelo's client would have handed him over to the inquisition, who would have explained 'customer disatifaction' using sharp objects heated cherry red in a forge. For some reason people frown on such practices today....

Besides, didn't Michelangelo change his 'vision' half way through painting the chapel anyway?

I've said from the beginning - they were trying to indoctrinate not just shepard but us with the ending - then release the full endings later on for free.....

I've never thought they were going to charge for it.  

the evidence is there - yes yes you have to piece it together - but all the statements - all the hints - its all there; but because the message was so disjointed.

Casey's statement on polarising the audiance - Matt's tweet - if they only knew what we were working on there wouldn't be this upset.

It was insane and ingenious attempt - but failed - for reasons I've already listed

How dare they call this ending artistic when it's just a plagiarism. It so ****** me of... <_<
But to hell with that. I want just what they promised - 16 different ending - no more no less!

while i agree with some of what you say i still beleve bioware and EA have done a capcom.

just think about it, a 5 second teaser with your shepard taking a deep breath in the rubble, the normandy in FTL, your squadmates on rthe ship.

this extended cut is bullchit i think there adding in the stuff they removed from the start.

BUT bioware COULD redeem themself by re-releasing mass effect 3 as the ultra uncut edtion with a clarification that people hand in the discs of me3 and get the uncut versions swapped over, or even send a code out to people to download all the stuff they missed out.


also i think bioware should release all the promo dlc for everyone as a free package
