yesterday I said I was leaving the HTL movement because I was angry at biowares response. I haved thought about it and changed my mind.

My goals have changed Before I wanted a changed ending that filled the plotholes, seeing as this is not going to happen (they are just going to change their rules to allow their ending to make sense) I am now committed to making an uproar untill they admit that their ending was poorley written and apologize for it. I do not care what DLC they release, I do not care if they change the endings, I do not care if my shep is reunited with his crew. I want an admission that they messed up. How sad that in todays society no one wants to admit fault in anything.

So here I am back from being AWOL holding the line till we get an APOLOGY

I'm waiting for Bioware to confirm that no matter what, we still have to sit there and accept the starchild's logic. The moment they do this, that's the point I completely give up on this expanded endings crap.

They pretty much have but the way they have handled this has made me hate what they have become...I am never buying Bioware games again even if they fix it at this rate. <_<

They'll add an investagative question or two to the dialogue wheel, and maybe let you point out that you brought peace between the Geth and Quarians (Because they're listening, lol). But in the end, it'll be the same crap. Shut up and pick a colour.

To my regret, after an awful ending, after disgusting behavior of EA and BW, I decided to buy production of both companies never more. It was a difficult decision as here 15 years from my 31 years of life, I buy their production. But after they scoffed at us, I made this decision. More I won't buy any game let out by both companies. And I will use the best efforts, what in the territory of Russia, everyone learned, that both companies wanted to spit on our feelings. To take away our money and to provide in replacements a poor-quality, bad, crude plot in a beautiful cover.

I've been onboard since StarFlight.  I've never been so enthused and disappointed by an EA product in my life.  They knew what was riding on this, and they failed.  They've earned a respite from my business for at least a couple years.

I'll come back and revisit after I've healed.

Even if we don't get anything useful this week, we should keep applying pressure. Giving up only allows gaming companies a reason to keep doing this to their fanbase. We drew a line, let's hold it. If we continue to persist, we cannot be ignored. The news is spreading around and all my professors talk about is the issue about mass effect 3 endings. We cannot just give up, time is our worst enemy but make time your friend. Outlast the negativity and we will shine.

I grew up with mass effect and I will continue to hold the line till death.

I don't really have a problem with them calling their stuff art, but I'm also fully aware that if they wish to continue their art they require the resources, those resources come from our wallets, and that's where we need to exercise control, it's difficult I know when you are a passionate gamer, but I believe the tipping point has been reached, we've already pretty much griped about the direction the gaming industry is taking but we've also tolerated it, are we going to continue being tolerant and purchase the next ammo reload or reach the end of the game only to get the message "to see the final climax download our DLC"?, that's really up to you as individuals, but I'm not, it's become a farce, I keep hearing the words in my head "Don't worry, the suckers will buy it"; and PT Barnum probably knew this better than anyone.

I remember thinking, the first time I heard of DLC for any game (can't remember which game it was now!) that it was something that would be open to abuse. But I don't think, even then, I imagined that a company might hack off the end of a game and sell it separately.

The PT Barnum quote does quite well for this situation I think. "One born every minute!"

Well, not this sucker. Not anymore!

I havn´t posted here for quite some time, waiting for the PAX announcement...

Reading the blog and news about the upcoming ending DLC, I´m not sure what to think about it. Is it positive, is it negative? I can´t tell right now...

I actually don´t think, that clarification will be enough, as I still think, the ending of ME3 (yes, I use singular) is the worst ending I ever witnessed in my 25 years lasting gaming carreer, and even as "Mythbusters" has proven the opposite, you can´t polish turd...

So, it seems as if we have to wait for summer. It will be a hard time for me not touching ME 1-3 untill then, but I completely have lost my will to play any of the games again... Summer will tell, if I ever touch any Bioware product in the future.

Anyway... just signed up for the HTL community.

If you would indulge me. You deliberately post in a thread that obviously does not go hand in hand with your opinion. What do you expect? You add nothing to the discussion, you only seek to enrage people. That does not show the supposed intelligence that the retake movement apparently does not possess, it just shows somebody who is deeply afraid of loosing.

DJ and all - sorry of this has been posted before but this is a MUST read for everyone here if you want the developers to listen to us. Strongly recommend to add to Mr. Bond's link dump.

That article says what I've been saying for a long time now.  People need to be willing to go without in order to make a point companies will understand, but most aren't that devoted to the cause they claim to support.  Even those that are that devoted are outnumbered by the rest of this current generation who have no clue how to go without or even why they should have to.  This generation is spoiled rotten and companies like EA feed on that, all the way to the bank.  Kids buy stuff because they don't want to be "that kid" who doesn't have the latest (and usually not so greatest) expansion, etc.

If EA put out a paid DLC pack that gave you exactly what you wanted, even if it was the last money you ever spent on an EA product, you're letting them win if you buy it, plain and simple.  Doing so gives them evidence that "we weren't really that upset since we were willing to buy X copies of the DLC", and thats what they'll tell the media to make us look like idiots, and the media will believe it, and so will most of the general public who see it.

If you really want to force change in this industry, you've got to be willing to sacrifice and go without.  Don't just say it, DO it.

Is it easy?  No, but no one ever said it would be.  It comes down to just how much you really want change, and how much you are willing to sacrifice to get it.

Hit EA where it hurts, the bottom line.  Make the stock price tank so the investors really sit up and notice.  Do the absolute most you can with the resources you have.

Just my 2 credits (and thats 2 credits EA will never see in their pockets).
