So to make things REALLY easy for ourselves, we just threw them ALL out at the end! Eugh...

Yes, for ARTISTIC INTEGRITY AND VISION !

That is why they did it.

It's hard when they're away that long! But you're back with us for the important stuff so put the munchies in the pile and enjoy! *hugs*[/quote]

Yup!  I'm doing my usual bouncing. from thread hopping, to watching the liveblog, and working on Chapter 4.  Now if I could keep my head from hitting the desk repeatedly with the evasiveness of the panel I would be a fully functional facepalming Rofl-er.:police:

Just put a pillow on the desk, you won't be able to stop yourself with this panel and at least that way there won't be bruises!

The numbers are good.. don't bash them.. they give the engineers amongst us, myself included, some background for going "Yeah this is what they did wrong, and WHY they did it"... knowledge is power people :)

As an engineer i salute you my fellow brother.

Ok, now were in spoiler territory. Maybe something now.

This is still vague as hell, but sounds better then "Nope, not talking."

Cautiously optimistic.

God... i am truly sorry, i understand BioWare took alot of effort into this game, and i respect that, but they just sound like whiny brats about how difficult it is... So what? is that an excuse for ANYTHING?
Awww its just too hard guys... so we made a **** ending... because that was just easier...

"Realized had never been revealed what female Krogan looked like. Decided "hey! this is the perfect time for Eve to make her entrance""

Ummmmm, I'd argue we still don't know what female Krogan looks like.

15,000 plot states leading into 3 nearly identical endings. Bravo.

Its 'Scott', not scotch...besides I think Mr Bond gave his age as 52.

I know I'll sound like a heretic, but I'd rather take the booze than Mr Bond. Never found him that attractive tbh. :?

Nor me, he's just not my type, got the wrong tackle.

Well, they sure got rid of them variables in the end nicely, didn't they? Argh..

Also, did anyone notice how they used Samara's real life model, by having her show up there and cosplay, to make it seem like the Tali thing wasn't completely lazy, but a well thought out, deliberate move? Meh.

Why are they just giving statistics now?

"We kind of created this problem for ourselves... this is what happens when you leave an open-ended game. Each progressive game you make things more complicated"

Are they using this as an excuse for the terribleness that resulted?

Yep. They made many problems and a had an extraordinary challenge with me3.
They failed for now in one of the crucial parts but they still have the space to fix this.

OK, board goes quiet for a minute...either a riot has started and the BW board is being torn apart. Or they just admitted to having made an error.

Oh, they're only talking about what we liked in the game and avoiding what we hated. Smart people

Yes, even if they chose not to take all those plot threads and choices into account due to how complicated it understandably is, they still could've given us a PROPER ENDING.

"VAST majority of room played with Wrex, never met Wreav"

I was forced to meet Wreav because my save import f**ked up. I think I've fixed it though, and I'll probably play through ME3 again. Even if it's going to be painful.

I acknowledge that it was a difficult challenge, but a bit hard for them to worry about it when that's how they set it up.....

Makes sense it would be difficult to incorporate that many different values into the ending, but couldn't they have at least included SOME of them? Even just saying "the batarian fleets are reporting in" or showing the dinosaur things the salarians cloned from the fossils for the krogan to use on the ground?
