"tali is not perfect. She's racist in the world she came up in. We wanted to establish a reason why you'd side with the Geth."

So Tali is a racist?

Even I know the answer to this one and I hate twitter: when citadel is moved, what happens to everyone on it?

"bad things"

GARRUS - Literally, in my opinion, the GREATEST SINGLE CHARACTER in a video game, nay, any media, EVER. Literally in love with him :,(

That's why I was so pissed, as I didn't know what happened to my bro/love

I love Garrus but he would be nothing without Commander Shepard (there's even a song about it) Image IPB

There's no Shepard without Vakarian

First questioner - introduced to ME because he had to play it for class assignment! His question - when citadel is moved, what happens to everyone on it?

\\Answer: One of the things in the citadel codex is that anyplace -inside- the citadel has emergency seals, and some exterior areas have emergency seals that can keep atmosphere in. Even if the Citadel is destroyed (which it may or may not be in ending), "is not like the entire things blow up." People on (in) the arms may well still be alive. No reason to assume 100% casualties.

That was not what was asked!!!

1. What happened to people on citadel?

Fair question, but one we don't really need to know

2. Withstanding all types of criticism?

WTF ****** off

Even the Kotaku blogger didn't catch that last question. Something about artistic integrity.

There is nothing to like about this game anymore imo, the story could only be saved by a good ending, instead we get a damned slideshow "explaining us" their "artistic"ending.
I think I am going to watch teletubbies on youtube just to see a better written story..

This is pretty smart an calculating actually.
They are talking about one of the best written sections of the game, to get people focused on what they liked about ME3 and hopefully deflect any ending negativity.

I wish I was there. I really wish I was.

I enjoy acting IRL. I routinely stand on stage in front of hundreds of people or more, and can project my voice well.
If I was there, I would stay up, apologize for not waiting until the end, but pose one simple question...

"What was the point of Mordin's sacrifice if the Mass Relays were destroyed in every ending?"

Yeah, that's the same thing they've been doing the whole time. A lot of the early @masseffect twitter responses were "sorry to hear that - what did you like about the game?"

Agreed about the question though. All the good points in the game are great - Mordin's sacrifice, Thane's death, etc. But none of it means anything if the ending stands as it is now, because the whole galaxy is basically just destroyed.

I don't think the intention was for the galaxy to be "basically destroyed"--going back to the Space Magic talk. But this is the kind of stuff that wasn't elaborated on properly in the ending, and it's what they think they can fix with the extended ending. Whether or not they actually CAN to a satisfactory degree.... we'll see.

I'm not even talking about the galaxy being blown to hell and back because of Mass Relay explosions.

Personally, I've decided that these 'splosions are nicer.
But guess what?  That still means the peace we brokered is worth next to nothng.
Still means that millions will starve and die.
It still means that Wrex will likely never get back to Tuchanka.... which is ok, because he'll probably just take over Australia or something. ;)

And Tali will never see Rannoch or build her house there.

All pointless.

To add... essentially the galaxy we fought to save no longer exists.
Why should I be happy my Shepard died for that?

"Question something about withstanding all forms of criticism, not just constructive -- something artistic / developer integrity."

OH THIS SHOULD BE GOOD!

"Whenever you create a piece of art, you're never going to have everyone happy." constructive over belligerent -- want ways to improve and make things better. "If you didn't like the endign, you're entirely okay not to like the ending" Constructive helps them make the game BETTER, and they want feedback they can take action on.

*sigh*

Okay, so I just watched the destroy ending again on youtube, there's explosions going on in the arms, but they don't blow up completely. Does that mean I killed most of them but not all of them? That's not very reassuring.

I think at this point, they're basically playing the audience.. scoring extra points with Garrus love, etc.

oh stop that.
you enjoyed the game, didn't you?
yes, the ending sucks, i'd like an other ending.
but still the game is awesome.

We're not saying the game sucked. We're saying the ending sucked. What bioware is doing is the equivalent of a girl/guy saying, "I gave you herpes, but damn am I hot!"

Who cares about Ilos and its statues?!
Who are these people asking questions anyways?

Excuse me while I go over there to Boston to teach some people how to ask real questions.
