I wish that the panel was longer. Needed much more info from them. But, yeah, like lots of people have pointed out they dodged a lot of the ending questions and are continuing to call themselves artists.

5:52 KCox: Q: Ending DLC. More cut-scenes, or additional gameplay?

A: currently planning on extended cinematics but cannot currently comment otherwise. "keep giving us your feedback."

So, what's a good way to give this feedback? From their comments thus far on the DLC it seems like they don't understand how important it is for Shepard to be able to...well, act like Shepard Commander during the final scene. Shepard shouldn't just go along with the star child reaper baby thing...definitely needs to have a "screw you, we'll find a better way" option; possibly explaining how the kid is wrong, since Geth and Quarians are friends, and Joker and EDI can love each other, etc. Without that, all the clarification in the world won't be able to explain why Shepard becomes so meek and stupid at the end.

One source is claiming that there was a "Cheer-off" during the questions. Supposedly one questioner supported the endings and got cheered by the audience, apparently someone stood against the endings (unsure if earlier or later) which resulted in a supposedly larger cheer from the audience.

If this is true, then that may be the only form of advantage we got from there. Still, suprising they didn't spend the whole time giving off "75 perfect scores" and information about the multiplayer DLC.

What about narrative coherence ? What about the rule of story telling that says "do NOT introduce a major character at the end" ? What about the purpose of the end of any story, to resolve all the threads of it ?

I really feel sad for anyone happy or laughing about "Retake failing". Don't they see that if BioWare starts losing money from lost customers and bad word of mouth they will lose too? Well, maybe it's just that they don't care at all, and that shows what amazing "fans" will keep BW for the future.
