Im back, got time to cool off, and when i actually think about it, even though PAX was a bit of a letdown, what they promise is something they didnt have to do, we did make a difference, we were heard, maybe not like we would want with different endings, and i will be dissapointed for that, but listening to them at PAX does show they want to keep us as fans and are trying, in their own way, to keep us around.

Great game, own it myself. Only gotten 2 different endings because I haven't managed to finish it more than that (although I have replayed it a good 10-15 times lol). Long game, very detailed, great graphics, need to use your brain to work things out...all in all, CD Projekt RED is the new "old" BioWare...great games and better stories.

Seemed a bit linear with the questing zones and storyline though - moreso than BioWare's I mean (yeah, BioWare has spoiled me with all that player choice stuff). But then I haven't played it, just watched Jesse from OMFGcata play, so my perception is most likely a tad skewed.

All I want is my Shep to live. I did get the breath scene at the end and I know I can use my imagination but it just makes me so depressed that I invested so much time and love into my Shep only to be told I'm an idiot because I need to have happiness in an ending. It just breaks my heart.

I hope that they are trying extremely hard to produce something really good. If it is only a few cutscenes, then I'm no longer one of their fans, but if I can see that they have actually put a lot of effort into this then I will be willing to forgive them, albeit still cautious of their future products.

Football Manager lets me let off a lot of steam (No pun intended)

I've managed to take lowly Worcester City from the Blue Square Bet North to the Championship and win 4 consecutive promotions to the Championship! I'm top of the league by 11 points so Premier League here I come.

It helps me calm down to write this stuff down - feel free to ignore or get angry at me

I guess they can only do so much. And actually hearing them talk in person made me realize that they do care about this, but their hands are tied as well. If they are taking until summer to do this, I feel like they are actually putting a lot of effort into it (more than I thought they would, at least)

Just gotta make sure they get stuff right

Not to me it doesnt to me they're trying to get everything with nothing given.

They're "extending" the endings. The endings that everyone hated. Whoop-de-freakin-do. This means that they want to seem like both the big company that sticks to its guns no matter what because they're right no matter what. And appease the "children" who whine every now and again.

Unless this extended cut ending  works a Miracle Bioware is going after two hares and will end up catching neither.

Word of God ME3 is the last Bioware game I will ever purchase and this ending DLC will be the "Make it or Break it" moment for them. And its still sad because ME could have really been something great. Now even if this extended cut makes the endings palatable it will still drag down ME to just "decent" rather than the outstanding it could have been.

Indeed.  6 months of dev time is crazy.. especially for a FREE DLC.  We could be talking into the $10,000,000 after staff costs ($5m), utilities, equipment...etc get added in..  It shows that they DO care and that we're a lot bigger than everyone said

From PAX. Take it either way, more double talk. But at least they didn't flat out say "no new endings".
