after reading the liveblog about pax and then seeing the first videos on youtube....i do have to say when he was talking about the extended cut being more then just some paint....i got kinda excited....especially when he said it will be done well

but then reality hit me and i need to wait to see if it is good

To be honest, I kinda hope this whole fiasco with ME3 causes the second Video Game Crash. Teach all these corporations and studios that they aren't gods who can do whatever the hell they want without any repercussions.

Gather round round Children for a tale of loss and woe. Bought a copy of ME1 Xbox ate it (laser scratched disk) took it back got a new one Xbox ate it again bought a third copy that got ate. Bought a new Xbox (Got a launch console so it was buggy as all hell).

Finally bought the fabled 4th copy and I have that copy to this day and the Xbox never ate a disk again.

The E.T. game was made in six weeks.Atari made a couple of hundred thousand, maybe near a million, too many.Most were crushed by a steam roller and buried in a pit in AZ.But the ending,E.T. got to go home.My ex wife did finish it.I could not it was as bad as a six week cycle could make it.

hahaha.  I used to have an Intellivision II.. I think it was bought before I was born, it was old skool.  The games in it were so awesome I picked them up for Xbox 360 Arcade when they came out... the graphics being pretty much ascii art on an 8 bit color pallette seemed so much cooler back then hahaha

I am as disappointed as the next guy about the endings. But I actually have no problems with playing the Mass Effect games again. I replayed ME1 and ME2 after beating ME3. I'm about half way through ME3 again. They are still my favorite games.

I'm not going to let Bioware kill my enjoyment of them. What I will be doing is turning off ME3 when I get to the Citadel though. I've no desire to see the end again. And I'll probably go back and start all over again with ME1 to do different choices all the way through. I know ME3 makes them all meaningless, but I still enjoy doing it. As I said, I refuse to let Bioware ruin it for me.

Though I will admit the whole ending knocked the wind outta my sails for a while. I recently forced myself back into ME2 and now nearing the end, hell I think I'm ready for another go at ME3. And yeah, I'll probably just cut after the "I'm proud of you" scene.

Honestly I think that if you're not worn out you could help keep up the pressure on BW and do you best to send them a clear message that their response isn't satisfactory.  Let your friends know about your experince, the people in the gameshop, etc.

If a lot of the Retakers do this and cause a ripple effect BW will be able to see their numbers hurting.

Am in wait and see mode for the endings, can we learn to live with starchild if we get more positive things afterwards? Time will tell, but some people won't be pleased by what bioware are doing, but hopefully they can please more than they did before.

seriously, at this point how can you believe a word that comes out of Bioware's mouth...I am trading in ME3 to get Witcher 2 enhanced om 4/17, and will reassess ME3 this summer and IF something makes me want to play again I will buy a 30.00 used copy of it...that way I CAN vote with my wallet and keep my options open too...I can say with 100% certainty I will never preorder another Bioware game though

For those folks that want to "hold the line" or "hold the wallet" or similar I would respectfully ask that you not play anything in the ME series. When you login to BW servers they will probably count you as a happy & returning customer. If enough people don't login the beancounters may reconsider their earlier positions about just adding "clarification & closure".

Till then I don't buy a single word coming out of anyone related to Bioware. Made that mistake during pre-release promos. As they say, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...

Have zero hope for a satisfying summer DLC (the idea is in of itself offensive and nowhere near what I thought the Retake movement would have wanted. Fix, NOT explain)

So I'll check in every once in a while, but I'm done with Bioware and their artistic bull****.

I was...it took me almost 10 years to be born lol 

My first video game was a Mega Drive and I loved that thing, even though my mom played it for me while I watched (I was about 4)

The ending of those old school games were still better than ME3 endings...
