Omg, the jet engine...when I play for too long, I just want to throw it out of the window for being too loud and not letting me hear the game itself.
I always scare my chinchilla with the sound too. He is small, so he is sensitive to this stuff. 

The old consoles were mad if I used mine for than a few hours or inserted Mass Effect it used to make a grinding noise. Sounds like my current car actually

I fixed the loud fan problem with a surround sound system, but then again I fixed the heat problem with a cheap desk fan. Everything at home is held together with some amount of gaffer tape.

I'll stop derailing this thread by saying this: I'm glad BW have listed to at least part of our grievences.

I fixed the loud fan problem with the same fix.. the overheating problem I fixed by living in a city where 5 months of my gaming year it's -40 degrees outside... so I could just open the window (and usually do thanks to all the servers in here throwing off tons of heat).

I'm old enough to have seen ET at the cinema (I didn't cry, my big tough aunt sobbed like a baby)...heck I saw Return of the Jedi at the cinema on its first day of release...and 'Back to the Future', 'Flash Gorden' and 'The Goonies'. That I'm now limping around with a cane is doing nothing to help me feel anything but old and cranky.

I'm going to sit in the corner and mutter about 'kids today' while practicing my cane-waving.

It's ok, my mom saw Star Wars in the movie theaters and she doesn't like it at all, but I love it. So this is all about good taste, rather than age.

fyi bioware i loved you from the getgo.. we had lots of fun and adventures and youe charactors will always be with me but . your extended cut dlc. may have a few choices being represented in cut scenes and thats cool...
but.. if bioware doesnt include the indoc theory or in some form or fasihon have a happy ending . i wont be buying anything from the mEA francise ever again.

so how the F**K can they clarify the endings when EVERYONE IS STILL DEAD.

Well they seem to be going with the explosions were a different kind to the one in arrival explanation, does not mean we have to like it though

Then again, it does reinforce that Bioware's customers are of all ages and backgrounds I guess.

I'm not old enough to have seen the first two Star War's films at the cinema (Although British TV showed Star Wars at Christmas for several years in a row, so I'd seen it some 13 times (including TV recordings) by the time Return was released.

One of my earliest memories is, ironically, of Star Trek. I remember that a British cerial put a cutout of the Movie Enterprise on the back of their packs, so you could cut it out and make your own model. I remember my mother doing this for me...and when she handed it to me I pointed out she was holding it upside down.

Clearly I have always been a geek....
