Ok, problem is they said they heard what we asked for, but were just like "no, we aren't going to do that. We'll do what we feel is best."
This is what makes it hard for me to stay level headed... They are basically saying our feedback doesn't really effect anything, and that they will give us a little more closure on THEIR endings to shut us up. And plus the whole thing about them rigging the PAX Q&A is a little disconserning... :pinched:

Not really.. they're leaving the key points in there, which I have no problem with, it IS still their story.

However they are going to explain those parts that they gave us that DIDN'T make sense.. they're going to make an effort to do proper storytelling.. which is, in the end, all we're asking for.. we're not asking them to make the ending that we've giving them, we're asking them to give us an ending that follows their usual level of quality and effort that the rest of the game had.

The theatre they were in was designed for 400-600 people, they managed to squeeze in nearly 1200 according to the reports.. the overflow outside was huge, they wanted to let people in that had costumes and stuff, and IF they turned away people just in protest outfits and regular clothes I can see why that would upset people, but at the same time if you spent 4 weeks on a costume and came to PAX to be at this event and then got turned away because a couple guys bought a Marauder Shields t-shirt off the net and were wearing it just to protest an ending it really isn't fair to the people who busted their butts to make costumes... and I can agree with that even though it would have put me at a disadvantage.

I'm 25, I don't mind being young...ish. I feel younger then I am anyway, have no interest in playing "how old am I" games lol.

Never!

We are not old...its just that too many people are too young.

*Sighs* Not easy to catch good looking women today, the buggers can run faster than me and the nets cost money.

Why is everyone staring at me and backing away...? :?

To be honest there is nothing they can do that will ever make me buy their games again. They have continually shown a lack of basic ethics.

Well, this oldie needs some sleep or I'll get really cranky and start using irony.

Continue symbolically upholding the arbitrary line.

See, I never expected them to change the endings; I always knew they would keep it. I just wanted to see my efforts rewareded by something more than a stupid RGB explosion. I also wanted them to fix the stupid plotholes, and from what I have been reading, that is exactly what they are doing.

But they better give us amazing endings. :?

Also, there are pieces in this article that are wrong. 1) there is going to be NO new gameplay, that confirmed this. 2) all the major parts of the ending (I.E. the normandy situation, the godchild, the mass relays) are still going to be there. 3) It is not new endings, simply revisions of the current ones with a couple extra scenes to "help make our desisions feel like they matter." the fact that all the problems of the original ending is this there proves that this is completely pointless.

Not an article.  But thanks for your compliment haha.

They said the Extended Cut will not change the ending.. However their tweets, and comments today said that there is more DLC coming and they'll let it speak for itself.. that was in the same comment as the indoctrination theory reply.. which could very well mean that the ending may have more revealed in other DLC packages as well...  they're not done yet... they've made that clear if nothing else.

That was the sole basis for the comments on the new stuff... I agree they're not going to just IT the extended cut, but they may have IT bits later on, who knows, they don't even know yet.. and if that was along the lines of the story they originally had, which we don't know or if they decide the story goes that direction, which happens all the time, it could go that way... and I think that's why the producer made the comments he did.. he DIDN'T know what tey're doing yet and the IT made sense.

My mom is older but my dad is younger than you. They both play video games (they don't play ME because they say they don't have the patience to play RPG games...and they don't understand English lol) ^_^

there is a lot they can do, a vast majority of the stuff they are putting into me3 now is the stuff they cut out, they just need to remember where to put it.

they need to dump multiplayer
they need to kill that starchild

and what gets me is this

everyone thinks we want the endings changed ............ WE DONT we want an ending ADDED ON
just like bioware did with the cupcakes, they had 3 choices and yet they took the 4th unlisted one, THATS the option we want, we want a 4th option that gves us the ending we oh so desire, we want one where everything works out, we live, reapers die, no exploding realys, we get our human/hybrd kids with our LI

So I'm just here thinking about PAX and what to do now. AS things really do hinge on the endling DLC I don't plan to get off the line but I'm feeling a bit of a heavy hit here. I do know losing it is a bad idea but side from holding wallets what else can be done?

I'm with you on that, Tami. I had only the tiniest bit of hope that they would change the endings, but ultimately I knew they would not. I'm just unsure how they would fix the plotholes. Especially the Normandy running away with my squad, I can't really think of a reasonable explanation as to how or why they would all pack up and go without Shepard.

All and all, we shall wait and see.

You can send them emails/mail, tweets, post on the suggestion thread and make sure that they understand what our main problems with the game are, and that they address those problems. They haven't made this DLC yet, and I think they don't even know what they will do exactly yet, so this is the time when you can annoy them enough so that they will get.

That was my fault. Someone mentioned the E.T. game that came out in 1982 and I said I wasn't even born then and...yeah.

Sorry about that.

So I just watched those videos from PAX and wow they were right. They didn't talk one bit about anything that people there wanted to hear. *sigh*
