As I have said repeatedly, we can get EA to change this ending. The only thing they care about it money.
Bioware wants to feel superior to all of us, so they don't want to change a thing.
You know what really pisses me off though.
That Bioware knows for sure that at least 60,000 of their fans hated the ending. And the are by and large completely OK with this fact.
What happened to the company that wanted to make a perfect game? Where is the company that wouldn't settle for less than perfection?
that company died when they got a ton of cash from EA and got greedy for the wrong reasons.
DA2 could have been great if it stuck to the stroyline, DA2 should have been a direct follow on from DA:O.
ME1 was great ME2 was better ME3 was kick ass .... untill we ALL started to spot things were not fitting in right and the kick in the face with the nonsensicle ending with a kid we dident know about, then toss in the dreams which even bioware couldent explane.
seriiously bioware cant explane the dream sequences

See I almost get the opposite from this last week...
Bioware is arguing artistic integrity, and EA is saying "GIVE THEM WHATEVER THEY WANT!"
EA is trying to get their origin platform off the ground.. that's a major major strategic goal for vertically integrating their retail chain. It has far more ramifications for them, and for gamers than Bioware's artistic integrity.
Bioware replied "No." and excused it with Artistic Integrity."
So EA had a press release, unannounced on a Thursday morning about a new DLC... before even Mass Effect's Twitter people knew it was coming out... seems to me some interoffice politics... but I'm not sure.
I can't believe I'm about to say this. But if this is true thank goodness for EA now owning Bioware. If anybody can get Bioware to pull their heads out of their ****($ it'll be their head honchos

If irony ever needed a description...Mass Effect 3′s writer Casey Hudson tweeted “i spent minutes reading this review only to be completely ripped off by the worst ending ever i wanted to read a rievew of the game and he starts talking about his exwife and his kid. My dog can write a better review”
This is worthy of The Onion rofl.

A significant part is speculation. The original press release went out at like 5:30am in Edmonton, something this large would have had a planned PR response team for a normal release. This is EA assuming direct control of the situation.. Corporations don't do that unless they're upset. Between the "Worst company in America", Bioware's consistent "artistic integrity argument", and the effect on EA's Origin platform I think this was a bit of big brother slapping back.. EA doesn't just release press releases at 8am EDT, 5AM Bioware Time.. their average release time is 10am based off their investors website.
I'm just connecting dots and forming speculative conclusions... I do that a lot, it's part of my career haha.
The only basis in fact is evidence of previous behaviours and the facts we know about the release.

This "DoEE" is a satiric news site. The whole article sounds like an "inside joke" by mr Hudson and mr Muzika about what's been going on here in the last weeks. If we doubt they are "listening", it is much less doubtful they are laughing at us.Computim wrote...

Hmmm...So...who else wants to start pressuring EA now? We may not have the numbers but their Origin account always asks (from what I know) why one wants to delete the account from the PC. If a couple hundred or more people put up "Because Mass Effect 3's ending sucks and the promised DLC isn't what we asked for." It'll put more pressure on them.
Put pressure on the "Big brother" so that "Big brother" comes back onto the little bro that's screwed up.

I'm pretty sure "Little Brother" probably has a narrative artistic integrity clause in their subsidiary agreement.. It was probably put in there to protect them from the evils of EA when they got bought. Dunno for sure though.. if that's the case it explains the pushback more here... I'm sure EA has probably had countless conversations to explain what needs to happen here.. but nothing's changed. I could speculate this to death.. I just have a feeling there are so many competing agendas here that we don't know about.

biowares customer support is WORSE than EA's own.
some of the mods here actually ban people from origin when they ban them o these forums and a person has to go through loops to get his or her account unbanned.
the whole "art" ****storm has taken on a whole life of its own now and we cant stop it and why should we, since in biowares eyes were all "spoiled entitled brats"

FTC never took up the complaint, twas in the news about a week ago. Bioware's not a member of the BBB so they really have no requirement to even discuss stuff with them. Dunno about EA.
The whole origin ban thing was a bug a few months back, if you look at the Terms of Service now they specifcally address that in it.
