Where are you located?, in the UK it's 18 for everything, not that I need concern myself, past the age too long ago.Atrocity wrote...
I've never understood the 21 limit at the States. 18 here for milds, 21 for hard stuff. I have no idea why not just make the legal limit 18 for every type of drink, but it seems to work, kind of.
I've never cared for the mild/hard distinction myself, and neither have bars I've visited, as long as you're over 18, everything is good. It just meant I couldn't buy vodka bottles myself for couple of years.

Busy reinstalling NeverWinter Nights and the expansions. After that I'll clean up my SWTOR vids so i have room for KotOR 1 & 2 (and all their mods I use).

Hey, someone mentioned that the PR guy (agthunter I think is his BSN name) wrote a response piece to the Extended Cut announcement. Could someone please link to it or give me an idea of which thread to search in or the correct spelling of his name. Thanks!

To all of you still playing MP stop playing MP. It occurs to me that if EA or Bioware at this point see MP doing well or at least "good enough" then even if the whole ending extended cut thing isn't universally well received (to put it in the best case scenario here) then they'll just shift most of their efforts to MP packs and will nearly disregard the RPG and story telling DLC alltogether.
We can see this in Dragon age 2. It was a game that had Lukewarm love from the fans at best, and both of its DLC's were considered "meh" as well and they just decided to cut it off with no real significant content.
With a Game like Mass Effect 3, which is nearly universally hated by its player base for the ending, many don't play the campaign. If they play the game at all, they play Multiplayer. So, this might in turn convince EA or Bioware to ultimately give up on its (at this point failed) campaign and focus on the one thing that might still make them money with the most bare minimum effort.
Multiplayer.
And me, personally, I'd rather that if we do not get an ending worthwhile or at all decent with this extended cut DLC, free or not, to not allow either EA or Bioware to make a dime more off of this game than what they already have. So long and short, boycot the multiplayer of ME3, go spend your time playing L4D or Halo reach or something else. Don't let them cop out of this in any way shape or form because I'd rather not have them or some other company down the road up and say
"Well even if the campaign sucks the multiplayer will always sell. Run with what you got now."
I'd rather all companies see this game, then go back to their work, check re-check and re-check again to see if its decent before they release it. No multiplayer safetynet to fallback on.
That's my request for the night (and for tomorow when I get back up.) For now, Ld is out. Gnight folks.

@ Jetfire99 an interesting analysis from atghunter and my worse fear is that ME is going to become more MP rather than SP.
It was quite interesting what he spoke on in relation to it. As for the fear of multiplayer. While I do enjoy it that's because I hang out on a gaming Vent and we game together. It was a fairly enjoyable 4 person co op. I feel it doesn't hurt the game existing but should never have mattered to SP, Give a bonus to tempt you to try sure. But ME going full out multi is ... rather disturbing to me as well.

Well, it IS called a critical success, with over 3.5 million games shipped around the world... I'd say it's doing well...
I would love for someone to say otherwise, though!
Edit: Sorry but i haven't found any statistics about the game's sales so far... I'll leave it to someone else.

Most of those being pre-orders, the slaes have dropped drastically from the release. I'd love to see the number for returned games as well.CaptnObvious wrote...

shipped is not the same as sold, look at the rapid price drop, their obviosly not hitting sale targets and there are games out there that sold more in the 6th week than ME3 did in the 3rd week sales
