I was literally JUST saying to my mum, that IF BioWare just admit they f-ed up I am pretty sure a whole bunch of fans/customers/people will be much more forgiving. I mean I dunno about anyone else but I respect honesty, I live by a very big "be honest with me and I'll be honest with you" policy. I pretty much never lie unless it's a joke or to keep something a suprise ect. So IF BW were to come out and say "OK guys, we're sorry, and we messed up" I would be like "Right that's OK, but what are you going to do about it?"

I'm really wondering what BioWare will do with the Extended Cut, though, mostly because I fear that they will fail at resolving the problems it has. Don't take me wrong, I really hope this won't be the case, but I just don't think they really listened to the criticism that outlines what's truly wrong with the ending.
Final choice:
Control: Become the Illusive Man and pretty much condone everything he's done. Bleh.
Synthesis: Create some sort of galactic Borg with no idea of what the consequences are. Bleh.
Destroy: Commit massive genocide and turn your Shepard into a certain mustachioed historic villain. Bleh.
It's like listening to someone who's telling a joke about some grave disease and you're wondering what kind of monster punch line could possibly turn that into being funny...

People still crying because they didn't like the ending to a game. Go and make your own IP and sell that then. Bioware doesn't owe you anything, you are all just unjustified, self-entitled keyboard warriors. You think you are the majority when in fact you are just the vocal minority. Just a game, don't be so invested in it.
Yes I played since one, no I wasn't happy that there was effectively one ending but hey, it is the story they wanted to tell and not everything ends how you want it.
