Hmmm...I would tell them to their face, I would have also made my voice heard at PAX.

One problem with all of that though, wonder what it is....oh yeah that's right I live on the opposite side of the world.

Also I'm not too sure that many Retake people were even at PAX.

aww thats to bad. Well what about the Retake leadership? Surely they would fly out to speak for those who cant be there. They thought it so important to start this right? They should be marching up in down chanting and holdin signs. Or are they to busy baking pastires and or thinking up something else stupid that isnt gonna work.

That's an appropriate comparison on so many levels. I posted at one point some of EA's financials, and I encourage you to go to a site like Reuters, type in "EA" to get a stock quote, then click on the link tab at the top for the company's financials. They seem to be "living" off new acquisitions and the sale of short-term investments, yet their gross profit margin for 2011 was 60% -- pretty high for a company that claims to have had a negative net profit. Sounds like a loss on paper only due to some creative accounting, but it's always hard to tell if the the loss is "real" or the motive was just to avoid being taxed on net profits by claiming you didn't have any.

Also, note that their stock price absolutely WAS impacted by the "Worst Company" award. The price fell almost half a percentage point the day of the announcement, and its closing price on 4/5 was the lowest this year -- actually the lowest since January of 2011. We'll see at close on Monday if any of the recent "positive" announcements correct the decline.

Looking at their most recent report to investors, it's also interesting that they are being audited by the US, Canada, France, Germany, the UK, and Switzerland for their "positions" over the last several years on taxes owed, which lends weight to the notion that losses might have been exaggerated. Countries tend to take notice when a company brings in $3.6 billion in revenue and then claims they didn't make any money.

Curiously, 12 out of 20 analysts still rate EA stock a "strong buy" (the rest rate it a "hold"). Guess that's why I'm no investor, 'cause I'd have sold any shares I had a looooong time ago.

Why don't you go onto the Retake facebook and ask them, this is not the place for your questions. This is a place to discuss the endings.

Hence the title "So we can't get the ending we want after all?"
