Im optimistic .
I think they will do best they can.. ...and after if it doesnt work we will raise hell....to get alternate endings...
so in all we win in any case...

I am willing to give the extended cut a chance, but I still can't help thinking that an Indoctrination style ending would be a much better way to go, as it would also open up the game for Shep to continue afterwards, meaning that they have more opportunities to make DLC to fill EA's pockets. Surely that's a win for everyone.

We're happy with new endings
EA's happy with more money
Bioware's happy that Parent company and fans are happy.

More possible than you might think.

Wall Street Journal got a "Review " copy.  It didn't even have the ME2 import feature programmed yet and that was a few weeks before launch and probably a week before it went gold. (explains the face import bugs now)

I really would like a side-by-side comparison of the games the Reviewers got and the retail copies the rest of us got.. I'd be curious the differences.

When starchild popped up they probably told the testers that the screens had accidently changed to a TV station showing Casper.

Nah... Wouldnt want to reveal the ending to anyone other than the people who were working on it... And hopefully nobody will notice all the Space Magic...

It seems that the copies of the game sent out for review didn't have the God-Child, but finished when Shepard and Anderson were sitting together....

cyber is speaking the truth, i have seen review copies.
some end when you raise up to the godchild bit, some dont even have the godchild and it goes direct to pick a side, and when you pick it there is no cut scene just a rewind to the start of the final push

all review copies did NOT have any endings
