some end when you raise up to the godchild bit, some dont even have the godchild and it goes direct to pick a side, and when you pick it there is no cut scene just a rewind to the start of the final push

all review copies did NOT have any endings

Well, to be fair, our copies didn't have one either.

The Only odd thing is that you want to play a Mass Effect game at all but other than that no......it's not

Great article !

Yeah, not only the end is... baddly written. Kai Leng is a Final Fantasy reject.

But it still was fun (albeit the Rachi queen was disappointing for Renegade players..)..

Aye... To me it seems like the review copies were way better than our copies...

That's a shame really.

I mean, WTH ?!

Feels like an earth quake. Much like the ending. :pinched:

wait, what?

next :

It's going to be resolved quickly, apparently. But still, I was shocked.

It's a catchy song, but "An End, Once and For All" with Liara's FREAKING CUTE SMILE is all that's been in my head for the last 2-3 days...

I... want my blue babies... too much to ask?

Yes  it clearly is because Bioware sees that   Blue Babies do not fit in the "Artistic Vision"  <_<    Just Houses on Rannoch...

Personally, I would just a problem with fem Shep, because I never liked the default face on 1 and 2 and changed it. But male Shep, the one I play the most, is the default face all the time. And since I never got to play ME3 a second time, and would have been with my fem Shep, I never went through the issue.

I doesn't make it less absurd, of course. And I wish I could play ME3 again. But not until we have some decent ending.

It could simply mean that one could take the part about Shep not telling the StarKid to f*** out as him/her being indoctrinated. I would get my hopes up on that, to be honest.

Why do you think more than a few reviewers either went very quiet, or started being less defensive about the game after some two weeks? The reason is that they suddenly realised they had not, in fact, seen the full game and therefore were looking like idiots for saying it was the perfect ending to the series. (Incidently, this also seems to be the same time frame in which the 'artistic intergity' argument started to be used).

So it looks like BW not only ticked off customers, but probably more than a few gaming journalists as well - which may well come back to bite Bioware when they release their next title. (From what I can gather at least two IGN reviewers seemed less than impressed at ME3 in an interview a week or so ago...which makes me suspect there is going to be some lingering resentment at being made to look like fools by defending the ending initially, and later having to continue backing ME3 to avoid having to admit that).

Important note; Some people would unquestionably claim that the ending was 'cut' from the review copies because BW knew it was bad. However I suspect the real reason was simply because BW wanted to keep the ending a secret for as long as possible and didn't want the ending leaked, which could spoil the story for people. I suspect this based on the fact that BW seems to have been genuinely taken by surprise by the scale of the complaints. I've seen no indication that BW had any suspision that the ending would be so badly received - the change in forum rules just before release were almost certainly down to personal attacks made when DA2 was released - or in other words experience had shown BW that any release would attract the more...combative...posters regardless of the games quality.

I'm starting to hate the word "interpretation".

We "interpreted" GodChild in every way and he's still a walking plothole and a plothole generator at the same time!

Shameless self-promtion, but it is a decent argument for why the "Extended Cut" DLC isn't quite goos enough.

This is the new buzzword:

Prescriptive (Courtesy FreeDictionary)
1. Sanctioned or authorized by long-standing custom or usage.
2. Making or giving injunctions, directions, laws, or rules.

Basically it's saying they're not going to give anything concrete because everything they're told, everything we're told, and everything that already is present is open to interpretation.

People think it's Indoctrination Theory.  - It sounds like they may be thinking of giving an ending that could be interpreted as such.  It won't CHANGE the ending there, but it might give us the 'clues' that we could interpret it that way ourselves.

It could also be that they just don't want to say anything because they don't know, and they're just simply saying that... using really large words on a 140 character tweet... (okay so it wasn't the BEST idea ever *snickers*)

It could also be they don't know what they're going to do themselves yet.. and as they go about creating the extended cut, they may change some things, and the way events come about.

I'm sorry, duty called. Someone had to play with my grandparent's new cat. And clean his ears, which I'm always happy to do, because who wouldn't love to give basic care to an animal they have never seen before.
But in all seriousness, he's a wonderful little creature, very un-cat-like.

And this has to do with the ending of ME3... ummm, I think the cat would've hated it too?

It just sounds to me as though THIS DLC isnt adding to the endings, but by saying that it doesn't conflict with an Indoc ending adds the possibility of one later down the line. But I could just be getting my hopes up.
