This is the new buzzword:

Prescriptive (Courtesy FreeDictionary)
1. Sanctioned or authorized by long-standing custom or usage.
2. Making or giving injunctions, directions, laws, or rules.

Basically it's saying they're not going to give anything concrete because everything they're told, everything we're told, and everything that already is present is open to interpretation.

People think it's Indoctrination Theory.  - It sounds like they may be thinking of giving an ending that could be interpreted as such.  It won't CHANGE the ending there, but it might give us the 'clues' that we could interpret it that way ourselves.

It could also be that they just don't want to say anything because they don't know, and they're just simply saying that... using really large words on a 140 character tweet... (okay so it wasn't the BEST idea ever *snickers*)

It could also be they don't know what they're going to do themselves yet.. and as they go about creating the extended cut, they may change some things, and the way events come about.

Ah yes more speculation... /sigh

I'm back, after a light 9-hour family visit. Nothing happened for the past 20 or so pages I take it?

Nah... Not much... We missed you though

I'm sorry, duty called. Someone had to play with my grandparent's new cat. And clean his ears, which I'm always happy to do, because who wouldn't love to give basic care to an animal they have never seen before.
But in all seriousness, he's a wonderful little creature, very un-cat-like.

And this has to do with the ending of ME3... ummm, I think the cat would've hated it too?

Sounds fun Image IPB Had a fun conversation with my mom earlier... She finished a book and I asked her what colour she thought the ending of it was, she said ''A bright and warm Orange colour''

Where was that in Mass Effect 3? Image IPB

*snickers* Well if it makes you feel better, Bioware won't have any trouble speculating on whether or not half their fanbase are buying the next game if they screw things up too much :P

Meh, I get the impression that the extended cut may be enough to stop the movement, but I don't think it will be enough to restore customers faith in bioware.

We've also started our new charity project, we're going to give it a friendly name that will bring families onboard and have kids and schools contributing!

Operation Deathstar

Bioware shall feel the force of this fully operational battlestation. *Laughs maniacally*

Yes. And speaking of sticking, anyone have a band aide I could use? That cat, while purring during the ear operation, plays rough. And when I say rough, I mean sharp. 4 times 5 sharp if you get my meaning. <_<

We've got some Hello Kitty bandaids if you want them... We need people at their best if they're going to sit down at a computer and write their opinion of the ME3 ending

I would have gone with Sun Crusher cuz why threaten a planet when you can threaten a solar system? Plus smaller crew and size; we could have one superweapon per Retake member!

EDIT: it seems this got buried http://social.biowar.../index/11147177
decent attmpt on my part to show Extended Cut DLC won't cut it as is.

See the problem I have is if they stick to leaving it up to interpretation, they will still need to leave the story very vague so what are they clarifying? If IT is correct then either Shep wakes up in London with more fight to go or he's fighting for the reapers as an indoctrinated slave. On the other hand if Shep wakes up in the rubble of the citadel and goes on to find his crew or whatever, that disproves IT, unless the Reapers are REALLY dicking with his head and creating a false world.for him, which doesn't seem to be how indoctrination works. So if they are going to truly leave it to peoples interpretation they would have to leave the ending vague. That means no happy reunion scene or fight with Harby after Shep resists indoctrination because that would disprove the other side. It just seems like at some point BW needs.to commit to one or the other or the ending will still feel as hallow as ever.
