Only problem is you got the product you paid for.

I beg to differ

In case he doen't read that (and he should anyway) it's very simple:

We did not get what we paid for, we did not pass GO, we did not collect $200.

You paid for their IP and you got their IP. Your choices mattered, they just didn't have the effect you wanted them to have. Suck it up princess.

Choices mostly mattered for about a week, and then everyone dies anyway so in the end they don't matter

Good show chap! You show those goons they better just take their product and shut up about it! Back in my day nobody gave feedback and if someone had a problem with what they purchased, we dropped them into the alligator pit! Capital!

How much is Bioware paying you to say all this Zanza, I'm curious about that.

I can't believe I didn't think of this earlier...

Mass Effect 3's ending is basically a knockoff of HALO!

I mean,
The Reapers=Halo
Halo was designed to destroy sentient life in the galaxy to deprive the flood of their food source and allow life to later reemerge without the threat of the parasite. The Reapers wanted to prevent the Spread of Synthetics by destroying organics.

Halos=Mass Relays and The Citadel=The Ark
Halo rings all fire in concert to destroy life in the galaxy. Look at what the mass relays did at the end of ME3. The Ark controls all of the halo rings, and the citadel controls all the relays.

The starchild looks like Cortana

The ending area where you make the non-decision looks like the Control room from Halo CE

REALLY, BIOWARE?

Everyone hates IE, you should use Firefox or Chrome or Safari, something with gusto, and fewer bugs and security issues.

I have come to the depressing realization that I simply do not care about Bioware anymore. This is not some rage filled washing my hands of them or condemning them to the most painful parts of hell but just a lack of interest in the company. Bioware used to mean something to me, every little press release they did and every game they churned out I adored and threw my love and hard earned dollars at without a second thought. This disaster on top of my disappointment in the amount of effort put into Dragon Age 2 and I just can't be bothered to care anymore. I haven't played the single player campaign of ME3 in weeks, touched the multiplayer for a few hours last weekend but even that experience felt like a chore. I think it was the announcement of the extended cut ending blah blah whatever free shut your whining mouthes DLC that has lowered the amount of Fraks I have to give down to Zero. They feel like every other company to me right now there's nothing special or unique about them and I have no reason to trust them. I want to hold the line, somebody give a speech and make me want to hold the line again because I just want to walk away from this whole thing and ignore them.

Agreed, the fanbase and more importantly the *customer* for the most part are dissatisfied, and making it known.
If Bioware have a problem with the negative feedback, they can always shut down the relevant topics, but we know that unless it becomes abusive that's not going to happen, it would not help their P.R.

The issue with the "artistic integrity" defense is that they never talk about what the artistic vision of the developers is. If you say your not going to change something because you want to preserve the artistic vision, then you need to explain what the vision is and why changing it will hurt it. Bioware has not done that which makes me think that there is no artistic vision behind the ending. So in short if you "artistic integrity" as a defense then you must talk about your artistic vision and why the current product meets it, or else people will see it as the hallow word it is.

It's Probably easier for me, because I have just been a fan of ME, and indifferent to most of their other stuff, so its not going to be a big loss to me to avoid things they bring out, but I can imagine its anoying for all the people like you who have been following their products for a long time now.

Ok, Pro-Enders, it is people like you that let companies get away with releasing sub-par products.
You can be fine with that if you want. But we are not.

If you don't like the fact that we have standards, so be it. Go play the game and forget about it. There is no reason for you to be here, nor is there a reason to insult us.

Or to put it simply-
"If you don't like it, there is the door".

Hmmm...I seem to recall a '16 wildly different endings' promise.  3 choices that are basically the same don't make 16 wildly different endings.
