Hmmm...I seem to recall a '16 wildly different endings' promise. 3 choices that are basically the same don't make 16 wildly different endings.
Don't get me wrong, I am disappointed that their multiple endings were in fact only two endings with several different colour schemes. However I have to admit I was surprised that it ended the way it did, it completely blind sided me and I loved it for that. I really expected the cliche we took them down peace to the galaxy etc but when it turned out to be bittersweet... It really made me grin.

Relax; you're getting worked up over a luxury item that 70 percent of the world could not afford to buy. You talk as if you part of the U.N. planning sanctions....
Take a deep breath. By summer, I'm sure the Devs will do enough to make you content and happy until the next big AAA title from Bioware is announced. This was the point I was originally trying to make, that it's a long time to fester and dwell on something so insignificant.
Also, you don't have to be condescending when discussing topics on a forum.
Wow, I never have been told that me talking like I would to a coworker (EMT, so coworkers are nurses and doctors who like to use long Latin words and the like) sounds like I'm a part of the UN and is condenscending. I apologize for that. Though, in an effort to maintain balance and peace here, I respectfully ask you to stop acting so superior and resorting to ad hominems when discussing topics on a forum.
As for the second paragraph, I am giving BioWare a chance for summer. The way the writer at PAX (Weekes, I think) talked about the summer DLC, I am slightly optimistic. However, I vowed they would not be seeing any of my money for their next 2 games and I keep my promises. If they believe they can release a inferior product to the one they talked about prior to release, claim to listen to fan feedback, then hide behind "artistic integrity" I'll show them that ignoring your customers when they are trying to help you improve is not a very smart move.
Also, I find it kinda funny that you've been riled up at us getting riled up over a luxury item (that "RETAKE HAS FAILED, THE TIME OF THE PRO-ENDERS HAS COME posts you made a few dozen pages back spring to mind). One would think you'd have better things to do than defend a faceless company that cares nothing for you aside from silently thanking you for doing what their PR department is paid to. It means they don't have to hire and pay as many people for that job.
EDIT: thank you Nephilim5 for being more cool-headed than my nature will allow me to be.
Corporations are people too.
Let's be honest, you're emotional right now and you feel like Bioware has done some great wrong to you...
When it comes down to it though, you'll be first in line to pick up the next big AAA titles from Bioware, why?
Simple. Your game registration history proves it. If that's not enough of a reason, I will also mention that the style of game you enjoy is simply produced by only a few developers. So let's stop with "you'll hear my roar with my pocket book" routine. It's silly. Your financial decision has zero impact on the company.
Bioware is too-big-to-fail.
On a side note, if you're looking for some encouraging words from me, I will say that you have accomplished all that you possibly could relating to issues that concern your "movement".
You were able to convince Bioware to put some additional dev time into the endgame of Mass Effect 3. This means they will probably take scrapped ideas that they would have liked to include originally but lacked the timeframe to get it done. You have now allowed them that time.
PR and messaging wise it's a brilliant move by Bioware. As soon as the public hears your dismay over "Free DLC", one word will come everyones mind, entitlement.
Why do you think everyone laughs at the Tea Party now? Originally everyone was for the movement until they read the details of the groups actual morals, values, and goals. Look how laughable they have become....
Until then, you will continue to savage the last 15 minutes of the game until you become so cynical that no matter what the Dev team does you'll always be unhappy.
Understand that. I have and will continue to enjoy this series for what it was, it have not taken over my life....
Everything I say is fact. I'm just being honest. Good discussion.

Bitter sweet...
No, bitter sweet would have seen Shepard die for the cause, but taking out the Reapers (or at least a large portion of them) in the process. Bitter sweet would have been the last bit of dialogue we hear from Shepard being between him/her and Anderson, watching him fade, and then queuing the crucible taking down the Reapers around Earth (Easy enough to leave open for future games; the Crucible worked to take down a large portion of the Reaper forces, enough to balance the odds).
What we got wasn't bitter sweet, it just made no sense when compared to the rest of the game. Bad writing is bad writing; one of the biggest rules of writing a series is that you don't introduce new plot elements in the last scenes of something.
I have to firmly disagree with your notion, I am sorry...there were other, better, and 'makes more sense' kind of ways to end the trilogy...they took none of them.

We thank you for your feedback. We're listening!
If you could please fill out a Form SI-11Y in triplicate stating your concerns and sugestions in bullet form 14pt Arial we'd be happy to pass them along to our movement. We didn't feel your comments were in the spirit of celebrating our movement though so we've donated them to charity.

You may want to look up the meaning of entitlement. Also, like I posted a little while ago, there is no need for you to be here if you don't have any constructive or nice posts.
Not being crude or anything, but it is just as easy to get your point across while being polite and courtious. If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything please.

See I disagree there, would the complete destruction of Earth and the mass relays really be considered winning when what is left of the fleet is going to starve or even suffocate due to the lack of atmosphere in their damaged ships? Yes the Reapers are defeated but what of the foot soldiers on the other planets? We only saw the ships get taken out. What is to say the ground forces don't just lose control and go berserk? That is another thing I enjoyed about the ending, if was open to interpretation. We only know hat happened in the Sol System.

Regardless, coming in and calling us a bunch of babies for not liking the end is a bit silly. We (or at least those I've been paying attention to) haven't been calling you a bunch of idiots for liking the ending. (And if anyone has, they're a bit silly too.)
Please, if you like the ending, feel free to discuss what you liked! I don't think any of us will try to shoot you down for it. But understand that posting in the giant Retake forum about how Retake is stupid is probably gonna get you nowhere. It's very unlikely that you'll get anyone to quit.

Nooo...we know what happened everywhere.
Mass Relays go boom = ruining all terrestrial planets in the solar system they're in.
Says right in the ME3 secondary codex, in game. Doesn't specify a giant asteroid hit, either...just says if they're 'ruptured'.
More bad writing if they excuse that away ^^
