Wow you certainly showed me.

I mean yeah, you didn't argue any against any of my points.

As for maturity. . . .

Didn't you form a thread called the winds of change, and start talking about how Retakers were going to start leaving and Pro enders would 'rule the forums'.

Just like the other groups on I listed (no comment for PETA or OWS?) Retake was formed around a purpose and a broad set of ideas.  Most groups like these don't have a leader or a set ideology.

That said, most Retakers I've spoken with don't plan come into your home and force you to download new endings at gunpoint.

Just like most Tea Party members I know don't live it shacks stoking their guns all day and reading the bible.  They're just people who want something (mostly lower taxes) and realize their best chance of getting it is to band together to speaki in one voice.

Still waiting for you to counter my arguments with facts instead of passive aggressive taunts.

Yeah, she has done that to me too. She is just trolling us and not actually looking from both stand points. I for one looked at both points and all the info for the Game and what the creators said it would be. Bioware has done false advertising and allowing EA to be their overlords. Unfortunatly people like Minty are narrow viewed to all information that she does not like.

agreed, but one of my questions from week 1.5 was never answered, so i must ask once again.. Who can we trust for an honest review?? Certainly not G4, IGN, or any of the other main sites as they were proven  to be duped themselves and intentionally or not, lied to us.

What is going on in this thread? Do we need to initiate Protocol 42

Which one is that?  Han Solo Dance Battle, Destroy All Jedi, or make subtly political comment about liberty dying to thunderous applause? :P

*shudders* No those are Protocol Omega, Protocol Wookie Shield, and Protocol Pheonix. We only use those when all is lost and nothing can be saved.

Protocol 42 is when we purge the thread of detractors. They wake up in a mental ward with total amnesia under someone else's name.

Say the word and its done.

Aww Woobels. I know you've renounced your Retakeness in dramatic fashion over the extended dlc issue. Its okay. Find peace in your whining about whining.

Wasn't that a movie?  I don't think it turned out too well in the end.. one of these detractors could be Liam Neeson.. you don't want to upset him.. that man is relentless!

Does it bother you to hear insight that challenges your beliefs?

Never mind, I forgot, you're above debating. Why have a discussion when you can read parrot talk about the same 3 topics from now till summer?

Nothing is like taking advice from someone who just became a member on these forums only weeks ago....

Good discussion.

You're absolutely right.  I apologize for my comments to you earlier.  Thanks for reminding me of that.. seriously... it's been a long day, and we've had a revolving door of people coming in just trying to start arguments.. I'm sure you can understand how irritating that would be.

So, once again, sorry.

Says the person who ignored my last response which had a few points that countered you own - first post on page 3060 if your interested. That's a tad suspicious (that's always been part of my nature, so don't blame that on Retake or anything related to it)

It's from the show Archer. And if it is indeed Liam that is one of them then... yeah the Protocol will be aborted.

I borrowed that mans hedge clippers and he left me the most frightening message I have ever heard. Glad I didn't tell him "good luck"  like Ted did... Poor Ted.

Minty, people have been disagreeable with you and you have been disagreeable with us.

Can't we all just leave this be? We're all humans after all. Nobody's "different."

So for the sake of not adding fuel to the fire, can't you talk about things you like in another thread instead of intentionally or unintentionally inciting people here?

Very welcome. Its hard finding a good critic that isn't sitting on an EA paycheck but typically those 3 are the best. Jeff Gerstmann was fired from Gamespot.com for giving a real review of Kane and Lynch so he good in my book. Yahtzee is good if you want a more "games are art" interpretation/ Angry Joe gives reviews from a life long nerd's perspective.

I'm still trying to figure out why people come in here trying to convince us we're wrong. It's like going into a church and telling people that Christianity is wrong. And if you think THAT'S a good idea, go ahead and try it. See how long it takes you to get beat to death by a bunch of elderly people with canes.

Trying to convince someone their beliefs are incorrect is going to get you nowhere.

That being said, the only real conclusion I can come to as to why people do this is just to get a rise out of us.

Minty - you need to work on your redirection arguments a little bit, it's not working very well for you (no offense meant) - but if you truly wanted a merit based debate and used those tactics - well, you wouldn't do well.

If you want enlighten me with your insights into the ME3? Here I am. Lay it on me. I would be happy to engage in a rational and polite conversation about how our opinions differ. If not, well, that's your choice.

Either way, if you've got something of value to add to the discussion, I'll welcome it.

Leethesdeep, I thought you made a solid post. I saw no reason to reply.

Oftentimes on these boards, Retake resorts to a number of desperate coping mechanisms when they come across logic/insight they cannot dispute. They usually...

- Demand all users to shun member. (Which is bannable)
- Demand all users to shun topic.
- Demand all users to kill topic.
- Demand all users get mods to ban member.
- Demand all users to stop having a discussing a topic they personally disagree with

And you wonder why Pro-Enders, the media, and public is against you....

I'm constantly harassed, attacked, or shunned, yet... do you know how many Retake members I have reported?

0.

Why?

It's cause I know were debating over passionate subjects, and I know rhetoric will sometimes get out of hand. It's because of this why I never try to openly ban someone.

Yet you have successfully banned me twice and have continued to harass me constantly.

Then you demand all members to ignore my thoughts.....

There was a good discussion earlier this afternoon about how much was actually in the review copies of the game.  Wall Street Journal said their version didn't have a working Character Import and stuff... Really wish we could find more confirmed info on how much of the ending was actually in the review copies.

We may find that the reviewers actually were right... I can't believe I just said that.

@Minty Cool

As tempted as I am to weigh in on the passive-aggressive comments of an individual with such low self-esteem that they have to announce to the world how 'cool' they are with an unoriginal and self-promoting forum name, I find myself so utterly amused by your half-baked attempts to cause anger and dissent that I really just want to see how many feeble, repetitive attempts you'll make at doing so.

All the while attempting to pretend that you're trying to have a civil, mature discussion and failing miserably.

That, and when it comes to battles of wits, I like it better when my opponents are armed.

To the rest of you, goodnight. Try not to let the mongrels distract you too much. Oh, and make sure to keep a record of everything they type, just in case they feel it necessary to bring the mods in...after all, everything they've done to this point is quite inflammatory, and goes against the forum rules. =)

I don't know. Have you been to a Baptist church in the south? I would be more surprised if doing that DIDN'T incite a lynch mob.
