- Demand all users to shun member. (Which is bannable)
- Demand all users to shun topic.
- Demand all users to kill topic.
- Demand all users get mods to ban member.
- Demand all users to stop having a discussing a topic they personally disagree with
And you wonder why the Pro-Enders, the media, and public is against you....
I'm constantly harassed, attacked, or shunned, yet do you know how many Retake members I have reported?

Why?
It's I know it's a passionate subject and I know rhetoric will sometimes get out of hand. It's because of this why I never try to openly ban someone.
Yet you have successfully banned me twice and have continued to harass me constantly.
Then you demand all members to ignore my thoughts.....
And I have found that those "coping mechanisms" are used by every group and every individual, usually when passion is high or they are in denial. In fact many Pro-Enders have come on to this thread and used coping mechanism #2 when given a link to the pre-release developer quotes thread. They ignore it because it sakes their preconceptions.
And, to be honest, you did come in here and started acting very superior and trollish. I remember the "RETAKE HAS FAILED hahahahahahahahahahaha" posts from yesterday. That kind of attitude can and will quickly turn other people against you, especially when you're screaming those statements in the middle of a group of people with opinions that contrdict your own.
An approach that would have made us more forgiving, tolerant, and open for discussion would have been to come in here and post your thoughts in a nice manner (I don't mean to be arrogant here, but..) similar to that "solid post" I made 2 pages ago. Then people would have been more likely to reply make with more civility than what we have shown you (seriously guys, I thought we were better than that).
Golden Rule applies here "do unto others what you would want done unto you" You want nice reasonable discussions, don't make inflammatory comments with no substance. Don't want harrassment, don't harrass us. If you want to write out a nice, polite post discribing your position then feel free, and we will respond in kind.

Good answer.. thank you..
Very welcome. Its hard finding a good critic that isn't sitting on an EA paycheck but typically those 3 are the best. Jeff Gerstmann was fired from Gamespot.com for giving a real review of Kane and Lynch so he good in my book. Yahtzee is good if you want a more "games are art" interpretation/ Angry Joe gives reviews from a life long nerd's perspective.
Well, having dabbled with 3D since the mid nineties, i can certainly appreciate the "art" part of everything ( and applaude the actual visual work that goes into it ), but yeahh, I just cant get behind the games are artsy fartsy line of thought.. I like Joe, he seems ok.. I guess time will tell.. Yahtzee, ?? Not sure what to make of someone who names themself after a dice game, but woorth checking out. Havent heard Gerstman but anyone with a set that big deserves some attention..

Minty - you're making statements as if they were fact:
"And you wonder why Pro-Enders, the media, and public is against you...."
This is a no-no when you're arguing people's inability to debate the merits of your argument when your statements are incorrect and infer your opinion, not your rationale.
And no, we don't wonder that - mostly because the media and the public have been relatively supportive. As for Pro-Enders? Well, then, in the heat of an argument, fallacious statements get thrown down like a gauntlet by one side or the other - it does tend to make us diametrically opposed to each another.
Point me to the posts you've made where you demonstrated insight and logic and I'll read them and respond - like I said before, I will be happy to have a civil conversation with you.

You've been banned twice? Why are you here? Better yet if you know why you've been banned why would you continue?
Shunning people isn't bannable. If no one wants to talk to you because you provoke fights then thats actually a GOOD idea.
The media is with us........not sure where you get your information. Go check Mr Connery's wall of media links. IGN, Gamespot, kotaku and so on are biased outlets and cannot be taken seriously. First rule of research, look for a bias.
You know why you're shunned and harassed? Because you're completely rude, passive aggressive, condescending, arrogant, insulting and immature. If you quit insulting people then people might want to actually have you around.
You're not debating anyone here. You're inciting anger and generally trolling. I repectfully ask that you please move on.
Edit- GAAAAH I gotta quit feeding you.

Please, just stop.
You aren't coming up with any "logic" to dispute anything.
Logic - the branch of philosophy concerned with analysing the patterns of reasoning by which a conclusion is properly drawn from a set of premises, without reference to meaning or context.
You're stating your opinions on the matter, that is all. Furthermore, you are doing it as disrespectful and condescending as possible (thats how it comes across).
Logic in relation to Retake - We, as consumers, were promised a product. Said product did not meet the promises made about it. Therefor, we have the right to express our views and either get our money back, or get the product we were promised. Therefor, it is only logical that those who do want to get the product they were promised would be here sharing their opinion on it.
While some here are only focused on Retake, many others spend time doing other things. Giving to charity, fighting to make changes in the world and so on. Just because we are fighting EA/BioWare to get the endings we were promised, does not mean anything else suffers or that we aren't doing them. It just means we are doing more.
Also, our actions against EA/BioWare are not just about the ending of ME3. Retake has grown to despise the lowering quality of products sold by larger corporations. The prices for things keeps going up, while the quality keeps going down.
You are welcome to disagree, but please, do not come here saying you offer "logic" when you offer no arguments to support your claims, nor reasoning all together.
Furthermore, commenting on the maturity of others is somewhat hypocritical from someone with your own posting history. I would be more than welcome to link some of your previous threads and posts as examples if you'd like.
So, in conclusion, please refrain from making remarks on the maturity of others, and falsly using the term "logic" to express your feelings and opinions on a matter (as we are intelligent enough to know that no logic is involved). Be polite, responsible and understanding.

One thing did catch my eye, though: about twenty-five pages back or so, it was posted that the Retake movement and Hold the Line were two seperate entities. While I was originally of the belief that they were one and the same (same goal, same grievances, etc.), it got me to thinking; how many people are only members of one or the other? I'm a member of both groups, but how many are not? There could be considerably more people who want to see the endings changed than we'd previously thought, and would give even more voice to the movement as a whole.

And its the nature of people to react even if every fiber of their being tells them not too. I should know I am guitly of getting tangled in those chains, but sometimes not giving them what they want makes them look foolish.
Its kind of like an experience I had working in retail ( when I was so much younger:() I got a hostile/ unreasonable customer asking for something that my store didn't carry nor heard of. This person kept going on and on about how incompetent I was and how I should know whats in my store.
Just to humor her I went and looked and made sure via my boss we didn't have it. We didn't of course so i told her that, but also said we could se who else had this product. She was hostile as ever and it was clear she wanted a to argue, and I knew it. So I kept it calm and told her I'd get her someone who could help her better than I could, and that made her even more mad.
I guess it was also the fact that more customers were starting to stare at her crazy behavior and that I wasn't engaing her and it made her look foolish.
Oh how I miss those days of abuse lol. If you want even more hilarity talk to my sis who worked for AAA. They do some things that are so wrong.
Bottom line let him speak his mind, just don't engae him if you feel it's gonna go south. That leads to unecessary things.
