Bottom line: get this thread back on topic or it will be retired. Thanks.

Will do.

I think this is the part where Shepard would hand you a pistol and tell you to take it out on the range...

I wonder if this is why Bioware gave us a range on the Citadel to use... *strokes chin*B)

Odd you should mention that. I was just out pricing M-1s and SkS's yesterday thinking those exact thoughts.

3000+ pages and finally, one arrives.
I don't know if I should be in awe or...well...don't know.

Still, goes to show EA/BioWare is watching.

Please, just stop.
You aren't coming up with any "logic" to dispute anything.

Logic - the branch of philosophy concerned with analysing the patterns of reasoning by which a conclusion is properly drawn from a set of  premises, without reference to meaning or context.

You're stating your opinions on the matter, that is all. Furthermore, you are doing it as disrespectful and condescending as possible (thats how it comes across).

Logic in relation to Retake - We, as consumers, were promised a product. Said product did not meet the promises made about it. Therefor, we have the right to express our views and either get our money back, or get the product we were promised. Therefor, it is only logical that those who do want to get the product they were promised would be here sharing their opinion on it.

While some here are only focused on Retake, many others spend time doing other things. Giving to charity, fighting to make changes in the world and so on. Just because we are fighting EA/BioWare to get the endings we were promised, does not mean anything else suffers or that we aren't doing them. It just means we are doing more.

Also, our actions against EA/BioWare are not just about the ending of ME3. Retake has grown to despise the lowering quality of products sold by larger corporations. The prices for things keeps going up, while the quality keeps going down.
You are welcome to disagree, but please, do not come here saying you offer "logic" when you offer no arguments to support your claims, nor reasoning all together.

Furthermore, commenting on the maturity of others is somewhat hypocritical from someone with your own posting history. I would be more than welcome to link some of your previous threads and posts as examples if you'd like.

So, in conclusion, please refrain from making remarks on the maturity of others, and falsly using the term "logic" to express your feelings and opinions on a matter (as we are intelligent enough to know that no logic is involved). Be polite, responsible and understanding.

You deserve a medal and right on the matter.

Nah, easier to keep track of us if we are all in one place.

Anyways, back on topic.
Even if BW/EA does fix the end, I still prefer ME2. This whole issue seems to have tainted my view of ME3 completely.

Ah so when you earlier came on here, told us we all needed to get a life and go outside once in awhile and promptly went over to another anti ending topic to say the exact same thing you were engaging in "good discussion." Got it. We all think we know your motives because you are so blatant in what your motives are.

If it makes you feel better we've seen this.. people go through cycles on this thread... which is kinda scary how long it's been around.  Saturdays are long days because everyone is here all day in some cases and the people who usually are in school or in their usual extracurricular activities that keep them from being idle and causing parents to snap are here instead too.

We had a conversation nearly 2000 pages or so ago about this and came together as a group.. the expertise from individuals (I think we had an actual psychologist - may have just been a psychology student) comment on the whole 'flame war' concept.  If you don't have a REALLY thick skin.. and, being honest, most people don't and the longer you stand on the line with us the thinner it'll get because you hear the same thing day in and day out, you really shouldn't be replying to these people anyway.  You won't keep your objectivity, I know I didn't earlier, and I'm going to obviously have to take my own advice now and ignore it.

There's no shame in losing your temper, there is shame in carrying on and bringing disrepute to the line and diminishing the collection professionalism and integrity we're all here to uphold... and for that I apologize to everyone here.  You deserve better from me, and I will give better in the future.

I encourage everyone, and myself, to examine yourselves and determine how thick a skin do you have?  If you feel the need to post 8 paragraph responses over 2 pages to a person on here who is obviously getting to us it probably means you're no longer objective and probably should let someone else take the brunt.

The romans used to have 4-7 men deep.  They'd push in, stabbystabby with their pikes, then fall back to the end of the line and the next in line would move up, so by the time the guy in the back got BACK up to the front they had rested, calmed down, and were ready to go again.  We're not exactly stabbing people in the face here (might wish we could somedays) but the strategy is a valid one.. take a break, let someone else do the heavy lifting, you SHARE the line with tens of thousands, you can rely on us, and we can rely on you.

*steps off the soapbox and goes back to ignoring people here to get a rise out of us for their own agendas*
Hold the line! :police:

Kinda the same, but that unofficial interview with Weekes sounds promising, I know we've heard it all before and it's difficult to regain any confidence, but I intend to give them a shot.

I've been skipping over every post "Minty" made for a while now, but every, single, time I saw the name I couldn't help but think of this.

You'll thank me, trust me.  :D

Thanks!  Interesting Interview.  If some of the things here are more clarified, then it would certainly make the ending better for me personally; better, but still not really what I'd have hoped for.

Ultimately I will render judgement upon playing the DLC.

I still can't bring myself to play any of the games in the series - a friend once told me that the part of the brain that controls your sense of disgust is the same part that controls your sense of fair play... His analogy was "you don't remember the idiot who cut you off in traffic three months ago, but you remember the shop that short changed you 5 years ago... and probably don't shop there anymore because of it"

Until this feeling of being slighted is dealt with, I'll probably have an aversion to all the ME games...

Someone mentioned they had cake?

Yeah I've been watching my little brother go through it and finding new stuff I didn't do on his paragon playthrough.  Still can't wait for extended cut though.

I -really- want to see what they do with the war assets stuff in the epilogue.

Edit: Woah, Hi Mr Moderator dude! \\o.  Punch and cookies in the tent on the left, help yourself haha.

Agreed. If those comments are correct then the Extended Cut could work. I'm hoping for a mix of that and that Unofficial Epilogue Generator.

They should kill the thread the day right before it's retirment. Like an old 80's action heroes partner. Then we can all knell down over its corpse and yell NOOOOOO!!! Then swear revenge.
