Even if BW/EA does fix the end, I still prefer ME2. This whole issue seems to have tainted my view of ME3 completely.

Kinda the same, but that unofficial interview with Weekes sounds promising, I know we've heard it all before and it's difficult to regain any confidence, but I intend to give them a shot.

Oh, I'll give them a chance. Even though I don't really trust BW lately, I still gotta give em a chance for all the good games they've made in the past. But until I see the new ending content, I won't change my opinion of them.

That being said, if the new ending stuff is good, although ME3 wont be a favourite...it would still be a game I'd love. As is, I loved ME3 up till the last few minutes.

I've been curious about that post myself ( http://social.biowar...ndex/11154234/1 ). I'm really not sure what to make of ityet and would love to have others opinions..

On to a game topic.Bear with me sometime my brain is faster than my typing.
What scene (Besides the ending)would you make a little change to?Example from DA:O
Using the Dark Ritual,as Morrigan is crawling up Alister and he's looking all scared, I'd have her tie her Bra around his head, telling him it was for the ritual and as she leaned over to blow out the candle, wink at the camera.
In ME3 as Tali takes off her mask camera closes in Shep gives her a hug.As Shep says "Welcome Home" the camera swings around to Talis face.

My only fear is MMO, when it was mentioned the relays might not be needed, and ships can travel to the different star systems without them "Eve Online" suddenly came to mind.

ill actually prefer ME 3 to be honest and that is IF the ending is fixed, enjoyed basically everything else in the game

Yeah I've been watching my little brother go through it and finding new stuff I didn't do on his paragon playthrough.  Still can't wait for extended cut though.

I -really- want to see what they do with the war assets stuff in the epilogue.

Edit: Woah, Hi Mr Moderator dude! o.  Punch and cookies in the tent on the left, help yourself haha.

it'll be interesting to say the least to see what they can do with this extended cut
and yes cookies and punch in that tent there, coffee/other beverages and other snacks are on the right if you want! :)

Nah, easier to keep track of us if we are all in one place.

Anyways, back on topic.

They should kill the thread the day right before it's retirment. Like an old 80's action heroes partner. Then we can all knell down over its corpse and yell NOOOOOO!!! Then swear revenge.

Isnt that kinda what they did to Shepard???

I really don't know why anyone wastes time with Mintys comments. When you see his name just skip the post.

I just laugh at how pathetic he is that he has nothing better to do than complain about people complaining.

We're fighting for new endings. He's fighting us for the sake of fighting us. I mean, he's fighting against optional DLC that will in no way affect him.

I just read his posts and think about what a sad sad person he is.

I'm also confused, if he likes the ending so much, why is he here arguing with us rather than replaying ME3?

That would be another reason to not get rid of the thread, without good reason (insults, fighting, completely off topic).
It would be bad PR to delete the thread without said good reasons. And the Retake backlash would just get more intense.

Ok, here is something I never thought I'd ask you guys (just because we usually are so very negative);
What part of M3 was the best for you? (happy, sad, doesnt matter).

Since I saved Tali & Legion...I'd have to say Mordin's death while ending the genophage would be the best for me. Thane's death would be a close second.
Even though the ending ruins the game, those 2 parts are perhaps some of the most emotional scenes I have ever seen in a game.

Not too many scenes I'd change really, but tons I would add to better flesh out the whole story.

I like Archengeia's suggestion for Tali and her house in his first video (link in sig), with the rock.

I don't need full blown CGI stuff to make me happy, just some simple in-game engine scenes that would show some closure to things that were important to the storyline as a whole.

This of course assumes everything after the rush to the beam of light never, ever happened.  Image IPB

Agreed.  I've never been able to play MMO's, and certainly hope that Bioware doesn't take the same route with Mass Effect as they did with TOR.

that was my one fear also reading that though i have to think they wouldn't have another MMO going at the same time as SWTOR, and im curious, did anyone else here connect the dots and figure out Joker's sister had been killed? I caught it on my second time through, oh and i like that he said the relays overloaded/ruptured/didn't go supernova which means everyones still alive lol

Hey, I'm and EVE Online player...nothing wrong with EVE xD
That being said, the ME series would make a terrible MMO (if story based, like TOR is). If it was "sandbox" styled, where we aren't so restricted, I'd try it out.

That being said, every game these days is going MMO at some stage in its evolution. I don't mind it, so long as it is good quality.
TOR was/is good, however far too restricting in terms of what you can do. Feels like it is still in Beta testing :?

It's nice to hear something from BioWare that sounds like it came from a real human and not a PR machine. Gives me some hope for the extended cut anyways.

Side note: I started a femshep playthrough today from ME1 as an engineer class; only dabbled briefly in those options shortly after ME1 first came out. I was holding off doing a full femshep playthrough this until the third game came out so I could re-experience the games with some freshness.

I think we're safe from ME turning into an MMO, at least in the near future. Bioware already has one with TOR. Releasing another would be competing with their own game.

Thats hard to answer. I liked the whole game. Even the ending. Yeah I guess the ending was my favorite part. I tell you what I didnt like though. The way Morinth was handled if you saved her. That could of been better. Total waste of time.

I really doubt the ending was designed to lead into an MMO though.

Also I'm not sure how I'd feel about an ME MMO.  I like TOR.. but I dunno if "Kill 6 Ceberus Lieutenants" would get old quick... it may be able to be done.. and I'm sure if Bioware released one in a couple years I'd give it a try (I think TOR took like 5 years to make no?.. so at the very least it's going to be 2018 before we saw it)

a flashback of Tali without her mask on after you pick a color (since endings will stay and be expanded on with the current information we have)

I shed a tear when Thane died and Kolyat said his prayer was for Shepard; absolutely beautiful. Thane, Mordin, Legion, and Garrus were my favorite characters in the ME universe, after they took the first three from me I was pretty paranoid that they were going to kill Garrus. I considered not taking him on the last mission because I didn't want Shep to lose his best friend.

god that gave me a flashback to my old WoW days, "run halfway across the world, kill hundreds of these and come back, ok good now go all the way back there again but kill these ones this time." lol so yea "kill 6 cerberus lieutenants" would get old for me fast :P
