Nobody makes games like Bioware...nobody ...
We need make them listen ...not abondon them...
It would be a sad day if they ever go bust...
we have stand by them and force them...pressure them...
we might never get exactly what we want ...but this dlc is a start...
a dn belive me next game ...endings ...will be different...
becasue of us !! this small little forum of people...
feel proud you forced the biggest game company in the wotld into concession...
I feel proud...
I don't want the next ending to be good. I want them to retcon this ending. Because I care about this.
The next ending will probably be in a Dragon Age game anyway. I don't play those. (besides playing 25% or so of Origins)
I think Bioware might already be beyond redemption.
I wait for sure maybe I even fight a little but if this doesn't work out, then in my humble opinion they had their second chance and I won't give them a third. This ending just stripps all of the ME games of any purpose. It just destroys the franchise forever.
I payed money for all three games but if this ending stays those games will be worthless cause I can not bring myself to play any of them anymore.
Damn it I went out there defending the day one DLC and this is what I get? Another EA guy calling us whiners?
I am fed up. But like I said at least I will wait and give them their second chance.
If they botch it then there is nothing more for me to do with this company (despite wanting to see the BG 2 project).

Would be cool if someone could make a Mass Effect one, I would giggle so much to see Garrus having a dance off with Vega teehee

And this made me sad because it was not one of the endings we've got. It's a reaper win video.

Except the only integrity they truly and completely sullied was the one of the original premise of the game(s), heh.. Though, I suspect you were being sarcastic there..g_bassi13 wrote...
With how defensive Bioware is getting about it, it's clear they hold it dear for some reason. I don't know if we'll ever figure out why. Shepard's character assasination was part of their artistic vision, so I don't think we'll see them sully the integrity of it by changing that.
As for Bioware being defensive, I think that may be their way of trying to save face (or rahter, to try and save Casey Hudson's reputation as the lead). But like you said, we'll probably never know..
Dragon Age 2 was the first time they mucked up, and now this is already strike two.. and one can see it's no longer a simple line, but instead turning out to be a pattern. Sadly.g_bassi13 wrote...
The problem is that it's totally happening again next time. That's the one reason I'm sure I won't have a problem boycotting Dragon Age 3, because I don't believe I want to even play it anymore.
I really hope they make the necessary changes in all future games and get back to what they used to do best, instead of letting themselves be butchered by EA imposed time constraints, as well as their own hubris. But I'm not holding my breath or anything..
Though, let's try and be a bit more positive.. at least WE made a difference and succeded in making them at least attempt to change a part of something that was, until a few weeks ago, unchangeable. Yeay us. :innocent:
