Thanks!
I'm still shaking my head over all of this......Bioware at PAX pretending nothings wrong and everywhere else chaos...lol

I'd say its they are not pretending but under orders to try and keep PR blunders down to min - they've had enough already - but watch the hints that are out there - the tweets - posts -

... yeah because that whole assasin's creed game had NO religion in it...seriously dude you gotta get out more... and just because you say "No offence" doesn't mean your statement isn't offensive lol :P

Lets not get worked up with it, AC always has a disclaimer at the start about the potrayal of religious beliefs, and that joke was just bad taste so lets just forget about it.

Very true. Some games feature religion prominently, even if you don't realize it. Have you ever played Final Fantasy 7? The concept of the life stream is based on the Jewish Kabbalah. Does that mean Squaresoft, a Japanese company, is promoting Judaism? I don't think so.

Going back to the London Mission. Did any1 not miss the chance to split your team up like we did at the end of ME2? I enjoyed that part even the nosey part of me wanted to also see what was happening to the other group.

That would have destroyed me at that point.. I was so stressed about even who to take on my mission not knowing if the Normandy would survive haha.. if they had made me split up my team I wouldn't have known if the person with me would die, or the other team would die... I would have been rocking back and forth sucking my thumb hahaha.

AND you wouldn't have dared to finish the game, so you would've saved yourself a lot of pain. Ergo, yes, you did miss the chance to split your team :P

See I wasn't sure my squad would survive.. I wanted Liara to so I didn't take her, and then I got scared they were gonna blow the ship up in a cutscene... in the end I figured there was less chance of me surviving than the Normandy, so I left her on it.... didn't realize the rest of my characters were going to space magic out of there anyway.. so I guess it didn't matter lol

Yea me too... But I doubt it would have worked for ME3. We had like 12 companions in ME2 with the DLC, in ME3 we got 7(?)

That would have been really cool, I did enjoy that in ME2. But then I think they could have done more with the London mission. I enjoyed it but just didn't feel that it compared to ME2's ending.

Me too! But then again, at that point I didn't get anymore; I knew the ending, so I knew that whatever I did would lead to the same explosion and same Space Magic :wizard: filled ending.

to be honest, i went into every situation with the "theres no way anyone is going to die in my squad on any of these missions" which was true for me so i brought LI (tali) and javik/garrus along all the time, then the ending happened...lol

In my playthrough with femshep I wanted to hook up with garrus but oddly enough even after the date and stuff he didn't visit my room and I saw him hooking up with Tali. So I had him stay back and took her with me. I thought hell if one group has to bite the dust at least they won't do it together :S.

Than I got sad and regretted my selfish decision :>

I went for my LI and James - making it up to him for taking him away from the fight in the beginning Image IPB

It was a shame we didn't have more squad members especially the ME2 characters to have maybe made that an option but from what I heard at PAX they reduced the number so we could have more dialogue with the squad members we get.

I was actually expecting to split entire armies at the ending so the game would show diferent cutscenes based on the army you've sent. Not a Star Brat...

Yet I feel like we got more dialogues  in ME2 than in ME3
(real conversations with dialogue wheel, not click-and-hear stuff)

Didn't Patrick Weekes explain that particular one? Part of it was a resource issue but on the other hand he said that they felt that Shepard wouldn't feel "middling" about the Reapers and the War.

Feels like we had LESS dialogue. (I count dialogue as convos with the wheel.) Wish that All of the LIs were on the Normandy as  the romance with miranda was a bit pointless. Most of the other's (Liara etc) gave you a sort of pep talk after the romance to show you how much they loved you. With Miranda we didn't get much of a meaningful relationship talk. (I haven't romanced Jack, so I don't know what happens with her).

Mass Effect 2 did have more dialogue wheel conversations. When they said there's more dialogue from squadmates in ME3, they were talking about the ambient, click and listen chatter. It doesn't count.

The actual reason they didn't add more squadmates was simply because they were to lazy to program it. That's it.

But see, that would go against the whole "we had less squad members so you could have more dialogues" excuse. Plus if my Shepard didn't feel like "middling" about the Reapers, she would simply not talk to people.
Another choice they took away from the players...

I say it was resource (and time) issue.
