Lol, well if that's the case mine would unleash nuclear war on the allies. I don't have a dutch accent but it's a weird combination of accents so the kinect would probably be listening going WTF?

well maybe yours would have opened up a hidden ending menu with hidden 16 true endings ...lol:)

I know it's not a major thing, but another thing that annoyed me was that whenever you wanted to go to the war room, you had to be scanned every time.

That was actually technology limitations.  It's like the elevator scenes from ME1.  The main deck got so large they couldn't fit it all in the same map anymore so it had to have a loading screen (hence the TSA scanner). They tried to break it up by giving some actually interesting conversation from the two airmen guarding it.

So, why do PC users has to suffer from technology limitations such as this and the holstering weapons stuff.xD
PS:I know the answer is "the PC version is a port" but it's sad anyway Image IPB

I heard they're going to explain the endings to us! Maybe instead of being Ctrl Alt Delete, it was actually Shift Tab Caps Lock! Or even better, instead of red green and blue, it's actually maroon turquoise and aqua!

Welcome back! I wasn't there for it but from what I was told there were some of the fabled under-bridge denizens that managed to push some people's buttons a bit too hard.

" Were this a physical product  I
could simply return it for a refund and no one would think twice about
it. However because it's a piece of entertainment software it is
apparently alright for it's producers to promise the world and then
completely disregard those promises when they become inconvenient (for
whatever reason - budget, time, 'artistic vision', etc.).  I am getting
tired of this particular elephant in the room being utterly ignored by
all but those of us protesting."

We have a new battlecry .. Wake The Elephant!      :o

I think you guys play on the best system: at least you can use mods. Poor console players have to stick with whatever Bioware gives us.

Genius! Image IPB

So basically to unlock the real ending you need to be a dutch person with a bizarre mix of accents.... so that narrows it down to me and my mom - suckers!! Mwuhahahahaha!

was meaning to ask you people ?
Has anyone played this game with KINECT ?
and does it work?
I was curious as i played the game on PC so I have no way of knowing ...

It does what it's supposed to.... Most of the time. There have been times when I have sneezed or cleared my throat and Garrus or whoever I had with with me would used a power ability or go into cover, and when I said " No stop doing that"! Shepard would switch weapons.

Drove me insane.

lol....ok...so it does work ..sort of ...

Oh those incidents were here and there, but when it worked it worked great. Loved choosing the dialogue options via my voice. Very cool to do a couple of times.

I never had that issue, mind you I was one of the Canadian English speakers they used to build the voice profiles so I know my dialect works with the thing haha.

Count yourself lucky I looked pretty silly screaming at my TV, when they were doing things they weren't supposed to. Still when it worked it worked great. Saying the dialogue was pretty cool.

Wait, so the deck is the same size as the one in ME2, has less people to talk to that are there permanently, less doors to animate (no doors) and no changes at all during the game except the occasional extra person in the war room for a few missions, and they need something to make us wait while it loads it? WTF? Does Bioware use different logic to us, because to me that sounds a bit idiotic.

Higher resolution textures, more dialog to load from random ensigns..etc  Might be same size walking distance, but there's a lot more going on in that area, along with various variables that load based off your choices to the point you're at.  It's doing a LOT more behind the scenes than it looks like.  Just look at the loading times between ME3 and ME2... ME3's increased about 20 seconds for a new load game.

Never noticed that much going on to be honest.
Seemed like roughly the same amount of random chatter from crewmen as in ME2, less characters (mordin and jacob are gone, traynor taken over from kelly, EDI and Joker have less dialogue). Can't think of that many choices that would affect much. And higher res textures shouldn't make too much difference.

^that was my thought process. I would actually be quite interested to know behind the scenes details now. Must be quite a lot to require it to load while we wait.

Heheh, at least it's not another elevator. I'll be laughing about the slow elevators in ME1 forever. God forbid you accidentally get on the wrong one.

My friend is subjecting me to a Matrix marathon, Reloaded just finished. The scene with the Architect made me think of everyone here...apparently hope is the most fundamental of all human flaws. And the issue of choice seems to pop as a nice little wrench in the system. I stopped watching and thought "hell, wonder what's up with the Retake movement!" ;)

Did anyone get more meaningful interactions? Becuase I sure as hell didn't. I got a lot of pointless click and chatter dialogue. Not many dialogue wheels. Definitely less then in ME2.

Meaningful interaction was just another thing they promised before they released the game that they entirely failed to deliver on. Again, the only reason they didn't add more people on the Normandy is because programing all those relationships and putting their characters into actual battle situations takes time. And in the end, they were like screw it, we'll go with 6.

There's no logical reason why a bunch of people from ME2 couldn't have been aboard the Normandy. They had to come up with awkward stories to give them a reason not to be. And in the end, some of them were complete crap (like Miranda and Samara).

They couldn't bother to program it, like a bunch of other things in the game they just skipped over.

Honestly, no one topped Jacob's story. The guy literally abandoned everything and decided to build a family. I mean, I'm fine with it, but what if your Shepard romanced him? That was so evil. So if you romanced Jacob(or most people from ME2)...

http://28.media.tumb...94e9jo1_500.gif

Lol, essentially yes. Jacob was by far the worst if you were importing a relationship. But it goes beyond the relationships. They treated the squadmates like crap, and relegated them all to minor appearances. I never really liked my ME2 squad when compared to my ME1 squad in the first place, but to do what they did was a major cop out.

I have played DA so many times that my Xbox 360 won't let me have any more saves, so I moved on to my mac lol
And I just use skip the fade mod because the fade is annoying.

But yes, ever since ME3 ending, I haven't touched a game. I haven't even played The Sims 3, and I used to be obsessed...
