That was actually technology limitations.  It's like the elevator scenes from ME1.  The main deck got so large they couldn't fit it all in the same map anymore so it had to have a loading screen (hence the TSA scanner). They tried to break it up by giving some actually interesting conversation from the two airmen guarding it.

So, why do PC users has to suffer from technology limitations such as this and the holstering weapons stuff.xD
PS:I know the answer is "the PC version is a port" but it's sad anyway

If it was a port, the least they could've done was transfer the controller support. But even that is missing.

Got any links to that?  Last week one of the devs posted a comment that as long as it didn't affect multiplayer they didn't care what you did to the game.

That being said, connecting a modded game to the internet is just looking for a ban.

Well the sound from the Xbox's optical drive can be quite loud.  And considering that the game loads very often, it gets on my nerves pretty fast.

Sometimes I can't even ear the game's dialogues !

So the HDD drive is a relief to my ears. Sooo quiet.

You know what, if they don't fix the endings then I will mod it anyways. Will just remove the tempation of giving EA any more money.

I compare that to what we got for Skyrim for Bethesda, and it makes me lol. Skyrim has so many mods you could re-tool the entire game, and the developers encourage it.

I guess they don't have the same artistic integrity that Bioware manages to maintain.

Guys, I'm sure some of you are aware of what I'm about to say but I've been snooping around the boards. Firstly Chris Priestly is getting a lot of flack on the threads at the moment for his comment and the mods are cracking down on it quite quickly so be careful. Secondly, Jessica Merizan has had some seriously rude abuse thrown at her over the past day. I am certainly not saying that anyone here was responsible but I just wanted to give everyone a friendly reminder to stay civil and not resort to abuse - we want to be listened to and taken seriously. People who abuse the Bioware staff make the rest of us look bad.

I just got the new sci-fi city, and packs and the Showtime stuff which has like Mass Effect looking objects... you have no idea how much it sucked boycotting it for a while there lol.

Urgh the fade got sooooo long in the tooth. It was my least favorite bit out of the entire game. The bit where you need to teleport through doors etc - very irritating!

But see, everytime I download a new pack/expension, I need to reinstall everything again (stupid Mac running Lion and its hate for The Sims games), so it takes forever 

Now I'm motivated to finish all my hw soon so I can play The Sims 3...if I can get past the EA logo

If you actually punch your serial numbers into Origin you can download them all off there regardless if you have physical or even steam copies... kinda cool...  Once you have them downloaded just go to your My Documents\\Origin (I think) folder and you can make a backup of all the installers, saves you having to redownload next time.

That sucks though.. I loved how the CD version of Sims 3 came PC/Mac on the same disc.
