Woah that is quite harsh oO no wonder she is upset

To those of you who feel so inclined and wish to demonstrate some goodwill, PM Jessica with an apology.

Because:

A) She didn't deserve it.

B) She is just doing her job.

And C because out of everyone at Bioware atm, Jessica is, for better or worse theonly one that's really engaged the fans in discussions here (faux olive branch or not.)

I'll be writing up my message for any who wish to join in.

Jessica is awesome. She is by far the most helpful and kindest person at Bioware. I'm not saying that the others people that work there aren't helpful and kind, but Jessica is definatly the best.

Okay so I'm about to peg out from being so tired, so try to keep down to a dull roar you chaps and chappesses... also don't feed the olltrays, watch the pyramid quotes I've been getting bugged by the Egyptians about them, it sounds like we're breaking several international laws by removing them, so lets return there artifacts to where they belong... um oh yeah, don't embed pics in your posts, instead just post a link, we all have a mouse and can move our hands so its not that difficult for us to look at a linked picture.... And yeah... hm... I think that's it... well g'day, I'll be back in about 8-9 hours maybe sooner...

About the Jesus on the cross thing: It would've been a bad "ending" if He had said "Don't worry I'm not going to get crucified, and die at the Romans hands." then after getting crucified told His followers "No stupid it's art lol.". Priestly blatantly lied to us, insulted us, and now brings in religion? How could he possibly think any of this is a good idea? My hope for the Mass Effect series keeps getting shot, tortured, and now it seems, buried in a mass grave.

Ahhh yeah.. you can still register the serial numbers in Origin, doesn't prevent you from getting it through the transgaming site, just lets you download it from Origin too.  Didn't realize you meant the install times.. they DO take a long time, just redid them all on this fresh windows install about 3 weeks ago lol... took like 2 hours including patches lol.

Exactly. Mac users didn't have any problems with The Sims 3 (well, not as we are having now) until they came out with Lion and everything stopped working. Now everytime we want to install a new pack, gotta do the whole process or we get the "do you wish to debug" message every 3 seconds, which crashes the game.

I love my mac, but not for gaming. Can't even run ME :?

Jess and Chris don't deserve abuse; they're just doing their jobs.

I hate to say it but getting verbal abuse is part of jobs like that. The customer service department of the company I work for gets verbal abuse all the time and are expected to smile and say thank you.

I know that people in customer service do get hit with it and it's completely unacceptable that they do but this is Jessica's personal twitter, not affiliated with Bioware and this is a very personal attack on her.

Absolutely.. if you're a phone customer service representative it is both not required and encouraged for you to hang up on the person.. it's actually illegal up here to force a representative employee to be abused by that.  I suspect the same in most places in North America... verbal abuse of a person is borderline harassment.. in this case it could almost be a criminal complaint (I'm sure if I called that sort of thing in and the cops could actually figure out easily who said it they'd at least have one of the desk sargeants make a knock & talk... or even just a phone call.. basically say "Yeah don't be doing this or we might be filing a complaint on you")

This is completely unacceptable.. and I wish there was a report abuse thing on Twitter.. I'd be clicking this 8 different ways at this point.

People don't deserve to be called a stupid **** from a computer for doing there job and have it just accpeted as part of it. People are stupid if they believe that.

If you have to respond say something like "Thank you for your feedback. We will take it into consideration."

They write in here because they love to see people getting angry and worked up. Give them the same response over and over or ignore them and they will get bored.

All you said is true but companies don't want to lose customers, well most normal companies anyways, so such action never occurs. Its the old saying "The customer is always right even when their wrong". So for the company I work for such behavior would never be reported, the most the customer service people can do is hang up. However, if they hang up often they won't keep their job long.

Let's just put it down to a badly timed and thought out quip - he has apologized - and leave it at that. Don't want the mods to rap our knuckles.

I have no problem with Jessica, she seems to genuinely care for the fans. If I had twitter I would join. Although I fully support people respectfully showing Chris's flaws in this situation. The key word there however is "respectfully".
