I hate to be obnoxious and say this again, but i would like to add that the review at IGN is PAST the 20 hour mark in game time and he is still not even close to being done with the game.

Maybe he will have a different ending since he is being a lot more prefectionist? I still don't understand how someone can have a complete playthrough with all side missions in just 23 hours. How does he even know where all the side quests are? *cry

This latest interview with C-Hud just out.

Hudson said that despite players being in the driver's seat, they want to see that developers have created interesting and satisfying conclusions of the story arcs in which they've become invested.

Anyone here feel like they're in the "driver's seat"?

If by driver's seat you mean sitting in the driver's seat while your car is being towed away, then yep. Totally driving

it is very common, lots of good business men have the mantra of 'under promise, over deliver' this would be a cleverly planned and pulled off campaign to make themselves look great....all they would have had to do is keep that extra ending under wraps (hmm....activating it/completing it with the day 1 patch.....)

Exactly!! Keep what really happened under wraps. They expected a RageQuake and that' is what is happening. People are reacting, they are talking,  they don't know what to think., emotions are everywhere.

I can imagine how pissed off people would be if the spoilers were different and it had some epic and positve outcomes. They'd be mad that they didn't get to experince it themsleves, and see these epic conclusion on their own time. I would be. it would be all i would think about knowing that this epic outcome wasn't so epic since it got spoiled.

Also that day1 patch nonsense is another factor. You need a patch immediately when the game comes out... yeah that isn't suspicious at all. What needed to be fixed? Is it agme breaking, or corrupting? Or is it an "unlock the full game" type of thing...  I swear if Bioware is indeed hiding the true endings, they will be gods. Seriously.. all this drama was for nothing and it worked.

Or say those leaked endings are true, but, there are also 3 more with the opposite outcome (Reapers still die though) and only the ones we have seen are the ones they wanted us to see.
because that would get the biggest reaction. .. It's brilliant. Very messed up and sick, and disturbing and just all around sadistic, but brilliant.

Could you even imgaine if people get the game and those endings don't even occur for them?

Xoi claimed to have had 100% complete in every star system for his last run through - which resulted in zero changes to the ending.

The professional reviewers are all paid to say exactly what EA wants, we saw this with Dragon Age 2 and other titles.

Actually this doesn't mean anything, in ME2 if you visit a planet (go to scan mode) then # % will be added to the current % star system, it doesn't say anything about sidequests, only that you went to every planet.

The scanning system in ME3 is different.

yeah, but the 100 % are refering to the assets you gather (as far as I can tell by the galaxy map video) not the sidequests

I bet the Bioware staff is thinking: "Seriously guys you want us to tell you the endings?"

If there are more, different, and better endings in the game, all Bioware would need to say is "These are not the only endings, don't judge the game on this."  Not everyone would believe them at this point, but at least they could say it.

There's only one reason they can't say that these are not the only endings -- and that is if these are in fact all of the endings in the game.

Their silence is loud, and telling.

True, I've said this many times. lol

Don't you just love the deafening silence on their part when it comes to certain legit issues such as remapping controls, face imports etc?

None of that's important, they have our money.

Which is why the only way to make EAware take notice is to NOT BUY THE DAMN GAME.

Don't give EA your money, encourage your friends to not give EA their money... EA will notice if enough people stop giving them money for half-baked BS games.

Witcher 2: Crap ending
Deus Ex: HR: Crap ending

Witcher 2: Well, I was with Tess in the end, killed the dragon and Letho, I expected something more conclusive sure, because it felt like it ended mid-sequence, but at least I was with my LI, defeated the "enemies" and I was satisfied.

Deus Ex: HR: Since we never heard of Adam in DE1 and 2, I picked the choice that destroys the whole place. Yeah, it would be nice if he lived, but from before the game was in my HD, I expected he'd meet his end in well... the end.

Witcher 2 ending is quite good if you don't kill the dragon imho

The endings of Deus Ex HR weren't so bad. At least they made some sense and were different.
And as I already said in contrast to Mass Effect 3 the player was in full control.

Sorry, I liked the actual ending of Witcher 2, but I didn't like the rest of the final chapter.

And yeah, when I said "crap" I wasn't talking relative to ME3.

As I said before, the requirements for a good ending are simple:

1) Reapers destroyed.
2) Spaceflight still works.
3) Crew /squad still alive if you did enough.
4) Shepard alive or dies heroically, player's choice.

That's it.

ME3 doesn't work like ME2.  The 100% is about readiness.  Sorry, man, he had max readiness on NG+ playthrough and did all three endings.  Even the "perfect" ending, Synergy, has the Normandy crashing and EDI and Joker coming out it.  He puts her arm around her and they look up at the giant planet in the sky that looks exactly the same as the planet in the sky of the epilogue.  The epilogue also implies there is no space flight or nobody ever reached them because the child asks if they'll ever fly in the stars like people used to and he answers "Someday".

For me there just needs to be one ending, no matter how devastated the galaxy is, that Shep is able to be with his crew.  Add that variation to the existing endings and I'd be fine with them.

I would not care about number 2 I mean the relays are not the problem for me its the forced spilting up of the ship and crew from shepard if the the relays still stopped working but the crew got shepard and then crashed I would be fine with that
