i hated that, im dieing and instead of tali showing up (without her mask, good opportunity to put model in game IMO) there is Liara looking at me, not that i dislike Liara because i think she's awesome

Well, I take away one thing after finishing ME3, even though I'm not too fond of the endings; Value the time you have with your friends.
As such I intend to hop on a plane to France, even though I said I wouldn't (buying an apartment and work came first). Well, screw that! There will still be apartments when I come back, and I'll likely still have a job, though I'll probably have to beg for a few days off. My friends could be gone tomorrow though. A little shameful that it would take a game for me to get my priorities straight, but at least they are.
Oh, and more closure will be welcome over the pile of questions left by the endings. Sure, I'd hoped that my primary Shepard would survive the ordeal and retire to Rannoch with Tali. But I respect that they don't want to remake the entire end. Won't make me like the endings more, but I can respect that they chose stick with their vision.

Well I've been nice and telling him to hold off buying for like another two weeks so the game bottoms out!  It's already costing less than Skyrim, he'll be able to get the game PLUS the online code for like $5 more than the Online Code on its own the way things are going lol.

Friend of mine has not much time for games and he was playing mass effect 1 over a really long period before he finished. And was now ready to continue with ME2 but now after he saw all the news with how bad the game ended etc. he just doesn't want to bother anymore. Which I find pretty sad since he is missing on 2 good games (1good ending).

I didn't really spoil myself, but on another forum one member said that the ending was utter crap. He hid it in a spoiler tag, and I didn't open it. At first I thought that he's just one of those that are never satisfied with anything.
Then more people agreed with him, and I began to lower my expectations. I thought "How in the hell would they mess this up? Just kick some Reaper ass and let Shepard live with Ashley."

Then I actually got to the ending. After finishing the game, I turned my XBox off and stumble upon this thread. And I was very happy to see that I a lot of people thought the ending was not on par with the rest of the game.

I just remembered how I compared ME and ME2 back when I first played them.

This generations' Star Control 2.

Just remembered, as I sit here reading this thread and listening to my fave music from that game.

For those of you who may not have played it; very open ended game, to a point...you had a time limit to accomplish things in the game before species after species was wiped out. You could forge alliances and trigger events that would buy you more time, all the while preparing for the massive, final battle against an overwhelming evil.

Well, one part of it was overwhelming evil, the other was just incredibly misguided as to how to best assure its own safety and the safety of the younger races, IMO.

It was such a good game...now I want to play it again >.<
