Also that day1 patch nonsense is another factor. You need a patch immediately when the game comes out... yeah that isn't suspicious at all. What needed to be fixed? Is it agme breaking, or corrupting? Or is it an "unlock the full game" type of thing... I swear if Bioware is indeed hiding the true endings, they will be gods. Seriously.. all this drama was for nothing and it worked.

Don't get your hopes up on the "day 1 patch" thing. Nearly every dev nowadays releases one, given the industry trend of going gold with an earlier release-candidate build then devoting all available resources during the month or two between that and retail release to QA. Plus, between the space edition, numerous leaks, and the release of the pirated Russian retail version, the game's already been datamined to hell and gone and the information gleaned from that distributed. At this point, what we see is what we're going to get.
And, patching in extra endings is pretty well out of the question. To have gotten that past the dataminers would have meant adding all the relevant audio and video files and scripting (writing and programming) in the patch itself. That'd be a big patch, in the neighborhood of a few hundred megabytes at least. That'd fly on PSN and for the PC, but has significant problems for XBL given Microsoft's pretty stringent about patch sizes and the amount of free content that can be distributed for each title.
ohhh cay while i partialy agree ond the DA II thing explain to me why DE:HR had a crappy ending a plese do the Same with witcher 2 and Skyrimi becuase those had great endings, labeit ind witcher 2 enidn was a bit rushed.Unit-Alpha wrote...

No you need to buy the ME edition fighter jet.
Yeah, no. Not for a while after anyway. I swear every major release of almost every major game has something wrong with it right out of the box.
That's one way to sell DLC, damn.
Seriously, even just in the RPG world; I love all the following games, but still.
Witcher 2: Crap ending
Deus Ex: HR: Crap ending
Skyrim: Ugly, much better now.
And I dislike this one:
DA2: Crap... uh, almost everything.

Yeah...still not impressed. Show me a video of her playing EBA with her tongue instead of a stylus and not failing horribly and I'll be impressed.

I hate to be obnoxious and say this again, but i would like to add that the review at IGN is PAST the 20 hour mark in game time and he is still not even close to being done with the game.
Maybe he will have a different ending since he is being a lot more prefectionist? I still don't understand how someone can have a complete playthrough with all side missions in just 23 hours. How does he even know where all the side quests are? *cry

There's a poll here. I'm sure the devs will likely seek input from something less convoluted than a 400 page thread.

I believe he said that when you import, which he had, it automatically sets it to RPG mode.
In addition to what IGN mentioned, the polish review we have states that it's 15 - 20 hours for the main quest and 40 hours for everything completed.
And I will state again that the SA guy has said he's not sure 'they're definitely stranded', plus they seem genuinely happy. If you're willing to go back through pages and pages, you'll find where I gave the actual quotes.

Speaking of dreams, I had a dream that me3 sucked and I hated it. I woke up and my boyfriend said i was making the weird noises i make when I have a bad dream.
I don't think i will hate me3. A part of me thinks that there still has to be some ending somewhere that is happy, because we were told there would be a "golden ending". Bioware knows that what a lot of fans have been wanting for years. In addition i still have faith that the subplots will still be fun.

As I said before, the requirements for a good ending are simple:
1) Reapers destroyed.
2) Spaceflight still works.
3) Crew /squad still alive if you did enough.
4) Shepard alive or dies heroically, player's choice.
That's it.
I would not care about number 2 I mean the relays are not the problem for me its the forced spilting up of the ship and crew from shepard if the the relays still stopped working but the crew got shepard and then crashed I would be fine with that
