ROFL.. reminds me of the Gerber Baby Food India debacle.. where they realized that in India most foods have what's inside pictured on the label... and people assumed us crazy north americans were packaging up babies.

Gotta watch your target audience haha.

Gotta keep up with the Space Magic :wizard: too...

I thought the same thing haha..  I figured it was a "No battle later" thing.. just was like "Dude.. you point a gun at me and you're on the wing of my plane?  Guess we're going to practice some spins!  Did someone say "Fox do a Barrel Roll?""

Must've been pretty horrific, with all those babies posing for products like diapers, baby oil, baby wipes, toys...

Must've thought our main ressource are babies, we put that in everything!

Hello everyone, how are we all feeling?

To join in the discussion, Kai Leng was a joke to me from the start. Other people have come up with better ways of expressing it than I did, but basically he felt out of place and really shoe-horned in as a villain. He was like a cartoon ninja in space. Couldn't take him seriously. Hated him for ruining the atmosphere.

Also wanted to post this: Aussie ME3 players will clearly never buy this car.

Don't 3D glasses use red, blue and green lenses? Maybe if we put on 3D glasses the ending in ME3 will make sense. ^_^

Just popping in for a second on my way to bed.

I really really liked Kai Leng. The character, not the "I'll crouch in the open" half arsed gameplay character. I read the books however and I really like him as a villain. Unfortunately, they butchered him adding him to the game and like so much else, they could have done such a better job with him. I love how he is a fervent believer in Cerberus. I love his stealth tactics and his absolute patience with her preparation for a kill. I love his ruthlessness but his ability to completely mask that when he needs to blend in or appear to be someone he's not.

And I wish they'd shown that in game.

I loved his stalking of Grayson on Omega. I love how he seized an opportunity and convinced Anderson and Sanders to take him with them. I love how, depsite being a Cerberus zealot, he can go against orders and make his own decisions. (Like when he chose to get Illusive Man to safety rather than kill Indoctrinated Grayson).

I wish EA would leave the BW team alone, especially the writers so they could have made the game richer.

Wait. You played ME with 3D glasses on? Doesn't that...hurt after a while?

Or maybe it was just me, since when I played ME3, I played for probably over 12hrs everyday (hence it took me 2 days to finish it) in 2D and still had my eyes bloodshot for a while

Yeah I saw them. I actually thought his idea of the crucible being a Reaper trap was pretty intresting, as well as his idea of intreations withTIM.

But hey you know how it goes.:wizard:

^^ This

I also read the books, and Kai Leng was an awesome 'love to hate him' villan.  The way they implemented him in the game, just you lost all of the depth there was to the character.  That was a very sad thing in and of itself.  I mean because I had read the books, I understood more of where the character was coming from, but you shouldn't have to read a book to understand a character in a game.  In my opinion at least.

Hello all! Just got back from Sakura-Con in Seattle, WA. Fun little tidbit of information, to help prove that it's not just "us' that are felt let down with the ending(s).

I asked 50 RANDOM people about what they thought of the Ending(s). Suffice to say, 48/50 of these people agreed, they were bad. There was a 51st, but that was a lady cosplaying as a FemShep, and she of course, agreed they were bad.

Other than that, still holding the line!

Glad to hear we have 96% of the Con's polls on our side!

Thanks ^_^

It seems as if the calling out of the big name reviewers is going to continue...I like this! Mind you, I understand time limits and such at work. It can be stressful, but I think I will be much more selective about whose reviews I trust from now on. Esepecially with a game like ME where you want someone as invested in the series as you (or at least who finished all 3 games in this case) to give their honest opinion.

Yeah ME3 jumped the shark quite a bit during that Priority:Citadel mission. Introducing Cyborg ninjas made me facepalm in real life. Also my first playthrough was on insanity and they actually kinda kicked my ass and were pissing me off. I can understand the notion that his tactics and outlook are the epitome of Cerberus. I just wished it didn't have to come in a silly anime package.

Lolz! That would have been something though.

*Goes and checks mail and finds an envelope from Bioware*
"What is this!?"
*Reads letter*
"Dear ME fan, we forgot to include these in the packaging of ME3, please watch the last 15 minutes with them firmly attached to your face

Love,

Man nothing was more satisfying than using a singularity on a Phantom then pushing them over a Citadel edge. They drove me nuts too, and I was very unforgiving in how I disposed of them.

I'm very glad they're calling them out. I mean, essentially, they're just telling them to do their job correctly.

Yeah, from now on, I think I'll be getting more customer reviews before I purchase a game, and fewer critic ones....no clue why. XD

I too am glad to see the Con support! I think people who say we are the minority are clearly in denial. There are so many people who never come on these boards that are suffering varying states of dissapointment. Not just about the ending either, but it seems that if people groan about the ending they are somehow associated with Retake...which is not true at all. That's why I don't necessarily feel the need to apologize to BW employees for the psychotic behavior of some people out there. Now, I will voice my disagreement with the nuts and say that it is not cool to pick on Jessica and stuff (plus I have a low tolerance for cowards) but I have nothing to apologize for personally because I know none of those weirdos represent my viewpoints or the viewpoints of you fine people!
