It is them giving us something they promised would come in the game anyways. I suppose it can't have any negative outcomes. 

Might not be the greatest DLC, but it'll still be a relatively positive step forward...

It might not be the greatest, but if it gets any worse, my console will explode upon playing it.

It's free, so I'll download it and see how it goes.

I HIGHLY doubt it could get worse. Mass Effect 3's ending set the all time bar standard for bad writing (an honor previously held by twilight)

I NEVER EVER thought 10 minutes could so utterly destroy a universe but holy **** did it happen.

Not even George Lucas' prequels were able to fully destroy the originals. You can at least look back on those with nostalgia.

Even ME1's nostalgia just brings depression. So even THAT venue is gone for enjoyment.

Haha ... horribly sad but true. I'd like to hope it couldn't get worse, but then a couple of months ago I would have had serious doubts that they could not know the best way to end ME3 and the trilogy.

Now I'm all for the choice of loving whoever the hell you want but I think that crossing the species hurdle, to then cross the alternate DNA (our having sex could kill one or both of us through alergic reactions) hurdle, to then have to cross the potential hurdle of being the same sex is a bit much. Well,I had the french version of the first game, and i don't know for the english version, but she never expressed any kind of close interest in neither F or MShep. Then, i saw the thread here about adding Tali to the romantic interests of ME2,so they did. 

Now before ME3 got out, i heard about the whole same sex relationship issues, but i never checked articles about it; it made me think that, basically, MShep could romance Garrus, and FShep, Tali.

I understand your point about just not having the same feel as with Liara, but i still never saw much reason for the Dextro-aminos to not romance the same sex Shep.

Garrus is like my freakin Bro. Its the guy I'd invite to my wedding as best man or something.

I could see Garrus getting into a barfight with Shepard just for lulz and kicks, male or female.

So yea, Garrus is Bro first and for female an occasional romance option. Mainly due to the events of the games, I could see her wanting someone like Garrus

ME3 endings are WAY better than twilight

the hunger games is just twilight with bows and arrows

but a statment made in one of the posts is right about one thing all it took was 10mins to destroy the replay value of the ENTIRE SERIES of mass effect

I hate to say it, but I have a feeling that this pretty much equals to polishing a turd, as BW attempts to rub it's artistic integrity in our faces. But hey, at least their doing something about it. Very interested to see what they come up with, but I'm still not getting my hopes up.

The bottle shooting bit is , imo, really really good. I mean, it's simple, but it just says it all...

So i, personally, wouldn't have been much suprised if MShep could just have the same reaction. I mean, why not? He's already had something against inter-specism or something like that.

I figure that when there's that many different species around, everyone turns into Captain Jack Harkness and just sleeps with whatever will have them. It would be walking a fine line though, you wouldn't want to have dialogue that could confuse the player, you think you're being a paragon to Garrus, and all of a sudden he puts on Barry White and starts girating.... It would be awkward. I made that mistake a coule times when I first played ME2, at the end all the females thought we were in a relationship and started giving me ultimatums.

Welcome back hun *hugs*. All is well in my world and I don't think these guys were too badly behaved in our absence. At least we haven't been revisited by the mods anyway

*hugs* Glad to hear it, also glad to hear that the mods haven't needed to visit again does that mean the destroying of the bridges kept the under dwellers away?

Idk. I think if they did that it would feel kinda out of place. That essentially says all LIs are bi. It has more weight I think if crew members appear to have their own preferences other than what the player ascribes to them.

It seems the lack of bridges has kept them away yes. However I'm sure other bridges are being built elsewhere so we can't let our guard down!

Well Tali never had anyone, so shes no bi, and since each new Shepard is basically a new story, there should be room for debate 

I mean, if you start a FShep from the first game, would it be SO out of place for Tali to really love her?
