OT: in Europe (i am Italian), ME3 new for pc 14,90£, Ps3/Xbox 24,90£.
it's only a month, even DA2 not dropped price as well...

They can insist on not making a new ending... They will lose more money... It is a wonder that they don't see this. Money talks and aloud. What are you waiting for CEOs you are supposed to understand... Money talks, you lose profit... bah!

What I hate is we really know nothing more than we did when Dr. Ray (Stanz) told us we'd get 'content initiatives' to give 'clarification' and 'closure'. We were told, come April, we'd know more. All they did was title it, price it and give it a tentative release date. Now we have to wait 3-6 months to know what it is we'll ACTUALLY be getting 'clarification' and 'closure' about. I don't see how this should really please anyone.

And the way BioWare has responded since; they act like they've made the biggest concession, that we're getting everything we ever wanted, and complaining now just makes us seem like 'entitled' whiners. Yet we know nothing about this content. We don't know what fan concerns it will actually address.

For example, I don't want details but it would be nice to know if the DLC would make it possible to reunite with your LI + squad if they happen to be alive.

That is quite cheap. If the ending wasn't like said I'd buy a second copy for pc.

If Bioware is reading this, we are not amused with your so-called "ending clarification"

Want my money? Want our money? Change the damned ending.

Lol, damn you found me out! Though we've moved past the alcove charging, I just plug into the powerbar when I'm getting low on energy.

I went to bed just before midnight and was up just after six. Can't let you lose without supervision!

Morning! *hugs*

*helps you hide coffee*

Things are good, kind of slower than normal, but there is only so much we can talk about and of course we don't want to veer entirely off topic incase we get shut down.

A random videolink I found today. It's a fan trailer that sums up a lot of what I think many of us loved about Mass Effect and also I think in some ways can reflect the actions of the movement. Maybe I'm off, maybe it's the hour. Either way enjoy

Great trailer !

But all thoses wonderful memories is tainted by that "organics vs synthetics" nonsense cr*p ! <_<

I still don't get why the "destroy" space magic ray of red ponies and magic targets the Geth and EDI too while the "control" space magic ray of blue ponies and magic doesn't.

/random rambling

edit : Hum, good morning BTW.

What we do know is that they've recalled every writer of ME back to work on this project along with most, if not all of the voice actors.

We also know that they're not releasing any other content in these intervening months, months that ME3 is, for all intents and purposes collecting dust on shelves when it should have been impressing new shareholders with numbers on how many people were playing it (logged in of course)

We also know that at this point Bioware is definitely poised to loose money on this, and more importantly we know that THEY know it. ME3 was supposed to be a cash cow they could milk for at least a year. It stands now to be one of, if not the biggest failure of an AAA game in the last decade (if not ever)

So No, we don't know what they're releasing. Which is good from a certain point of view, it leaves Bioware's writers alot of open room to manuever and possibly alter their plans on not changing/altering the ending a TEAM of writers looking at this are probably shaking their heads and looking at their boss like they're crazy telling them "You want me to FIX this???"

But, given all the stuff that we do know expectations are relatively high for this DLC (and lets face it, they can't make it any worse)

And while Bioware's attitude and general tone has definitely made them my least favorite company atm. I don't really care if Bioware gives a rats ass about my opinion. What I care about is the Mass Effect Story. Which deserves a hell of alot more than the ending it got that has put it on the level of a widespread internet joke.

As it stands, Mass Effect DLC (depending on the quality of their "fix") And Dragon age 3 are the last things I will purchase from Bioware. And Dragon age 3 I'll get it used if I get it at all (Again depending on the ending fix)  meaning I still won't be giving Bioware my money.

They've earned themselves emnesty from alot of their former fans. They'll feel it a few years down the road I'm sure.
