Oh wow, I was wondering why they didn't seem to have an off-topic area around here. Would be neat, but we should make sure not to dilute our posting here so they know we haven't gone away. Gotta say, so far everyone's done an admirable job of staying relatively on-topic while talking about all manner of things under the sun. B)

Yeah I didn't really mean right away, more like after this mess is all dealt with.

I agree though we do a pretty decent job of talking about anything while staying on topic (most of the time).

I tend to add some random thought about the ending lol.

Like last night I was thinking about the Star Brat's lack of logic, and I honestly still can't get my head around it. Synthetics will always kill Organics so I created Synthetics to kill Organics....ehm huh? lol still don't get why BW thought that made any kind of sense

Honestly I don't know why they couldn't come up with a better reason.

I could have dealt easilly with

"Organic life will always advance beyond its point of control, and will affect the evolution and growth, of new life, moulding it and shaping the cycle of life. We created the cycle so that this never happens. So that primitive organic life will be allowed to evolve on its own"

I come up with this off the top of my head in ten minutes that fits the interference of the Protheans in Human, Asari and Turian evolution, along with Salarian interference in Krogan development (culturally and scientifically)

and does not conflict with events made in game (Ie Synthetics always killing organics when Geth and Quarians are working side by side again)

I'm modding the hell out of Skyrim. Armor mods, lighting mods, re-texture mods, weapon mods...pretty much everything I can think of. So far, 113 mods installed.

Aah, Skyrim... At least THAT wasn't a PR letdown to me...=]

I'm not saying its a lie but  I need to see it to believe it because the Tweets and the offical Bioware FAQ are saying to different things.   I trusted BIoware word at face value on things before in the past-  I shall not make the same mistake again

My first instinct is to take it with a grain of salt.

But my own reasoning dictates that it is true.

Like I said, Bioware's reputation, along with their profits from the Mass Effect franchize are standing on the edge of a very sharp knife.

If they half ass this in any way its not gonna go down well.

Hell if they DONT half ass it in any way and they keep the current endings completely it STILL means they're gonna loose a good chunk of their customers.

So everything in me says What they've said is true.

But when I download that DLC it'm walking in with  20 dolars on one side of the desk and the receipt in the other. The first to get another DLC if I like it. The second to return ME3 if I don't along with ME1 and ME2

Then I'll buy myself a loudspeaker just so everyone can hear me at random streetcorners infront of random gamestops "Do not buy Bioware products...I repeat. Do not Buy Bioware products. This is a warning. They lie"

I just listened to that, and yeah, it just all fit lol... I do remember watching those, though for the sake of me i can't remember any episodes, just the characters..

Lol they even rip the Mass Effect with the Energie de masse part, which would be Cinetic Energy, but also refer to those FTL effects :o

Edit: It felt more light hearted back then though....

When i think about it, it just makes too much sense...

BioWare is a Canadian company. That program is a french program that broadcasted here on any french Canadian channel a lotsa years ago (that's where i saw it).

When i take into account the ending with the random Deus Ex man (instead of a Child, omg) who basically says the same thing... Yup, somebody watched that in the writing team, im a 100% sure.:o

Time to go back to playing NWN2 and all of the expansions... You know what I just realized, NWN2 actually had an ending like ME3, but then they released NWN2: Mask of the Betrayer, which continued your characters story... and a lot of people liked it... Just saying, they pulled it off.. and yet BW can't... that's sad...

JM Straczynski did the same with BABYLON 5 ripped this and elaborated on it.
but its beside the point.
Dont tell us Bioware that for artistic integrity you cant changed the story , story which you havent even invented just expanded upon and modernized for contemporary sensibilities...

You kow Me 2 I havent watched it in ages and yesterday I did for the first time and I found it incredible how similar they are.ME and this.
