Oh wow, I was wondering why they didn't seem to have an off-topic area around here. Would be neat, but we should make sure not to dilute our posting here so they know we haven't gone away. Gotta say, so far everyone's done an admirable job of staying relatively on-topic while talking about all manner of things under the sun.
Yeah I didn't really mean right away, more like after this mess is all dealt with.
I agree though we do a pretty decent job of talking about anything while staying on topic (most of the time).
I tend to add some random thought about the ending lol.
Like last night I was thinking about the Star Brat's lack of logic, and I honestly still can't get my head around it. Synthetics will always kill Organics so I created Synthetics to kill Organics....ehm huh? lol still don't get why BW thought that made any kind of sense
Honestly I don't know why they couldn't come up with a better reason.
I could have dealt easilly with
"Organic life will always advance beyond its point of control, and will affect the evolution and growth, of new life, moulding it and shaping the cycle of life. We created the cycle so that this never happens. So that primitive organic life will be allowed to evolve on its own"
I come up with this off the top of my head in ten minutes that fits the interference of the Protheans in Human, Asari and Turian evolution, along with Salarian interference in Krogan development (culturally and scientifically)
and does not conflict with events made in game (Ie Synthetics always killing organics when Geth and Quarians are working side by side again)
