Priestly says its fake, others say its real pretty much comes down to which you want to believe

If I remember my thread history properly this was debunked as either a faje or misinterpretion but I can't remember entirley what was said

Yup, it could easily have been in the game. Like an e-mail or something... Would have been better if we could have had Emily Wong on the Normandy instead of Jessica Chobot...

Logically Wong should have been on the Noramndy if there was an actual need for a reporter (which the game proved there wasn't).

Yea... But Twitter-death makes more ()Sense than random-reporter showing up and saying ''Let me on the Normandy, ill be your bestest buddy and get you some War Assets.''

They wanted an emotional buildup to the release of ME3 on the 6th, so they wrote these every 5 mins or so. If you visualise whats happening it is quite cool, but it would have been awesom to actually see that in game or at least the last part with her shuutle going ito a reaper on earth as you were leaving.

Not fake.  Some journalist looked into all the details and here is what they found.  Lots of details but each one fits.  The only thing saying its fake is a statement from priestly saying so, but he's not exactly an impartial observer.   You be the judge.

i didn't know they did this when i first started playing so when i played i was like "Where the hell is Wong" then i found out about it, hell just an email or something about it happening in-game would have been fine

Actually no. because most other games take like 10-12 hours and don't have the time or the recources to get you so invested into virtual characters. So most of the time a bad ending still has well a bad aftertaste but you get over it. Here it's they executed 2 games perfectly and what went wrong in the end especially if you take all the pre release quotes where you get the feeling "Those guys at bioware know what we want".

Actually it's been talked to death. So I just add a game I finished 2 days ago "I am alive" the ending was odd. First the protagonist derails from his actually goal after 30 minutes into the game and after he is doen sidetracking the game just ends. Just a small "Yeah ok know I get on with..:" *Credits* (Obviously not original quote because of spoiler reasons)

Well the game was just 3-4 hours long and probably just to see lets see how well this games sells before going all the way and release the rest of the story in a sequel. Nothing wrong with that but just how it was handled was pretty odd.

... Because Bioware decided it's had it up to here with good voice acting, and felt something had to be put in to take it down a notch.

Honestly I don't know exactly why they did it. Well, other than putting Chobot into the game for the sake of putting Chobot into the game. From the game's stand point it was a very bad move.

they would have had the character model all ready to go/already done too, only needed to touch it up a bit instead of making a completely new one for Chobot......a very bad move indeed

Ok I'm sure this has been discussed to death but what exactly was the point in getting an IGN reporter to do the voice of a character in ME3? Was it just them trying to be clever because I found it very obvious she wasn't a professional voice actor and it really annoyed me. If they want to hire non-pros for any future games I might as well put my name forward...

this would be my simple yet ideal Ending.. Can easily be expanded upon.

Final battle VS Harbinger

Shepard + squad/ push fleet (tanks,ground troops etc) all pitch into the fight?

You get to control what the ground force does with Dialogue??? (Depending on what you choose, will give you different outcomes to what harbinger destorys ETC.. just being brief here but can expand) - EMS WOULD ACTUALLY MEAN SOMETHING!

Joker keeps swinging past hitting harbinger and bailing/turning around hitting again giving you a chance to line up harbinger up with A laser Designated assault from the space fleets.

Finally, after an epic battle once destorying the Reaper 'leader' sends the Reaper fleet into disarray, giving you (shepard) a chance to get to the conduit, Activate the Cruible and send the Reapers to hell??

*YAYAYAYA* everyone wins, lah lah etc fleets leave to their designated homeworlds thanking you for everything and always being in your debt, sherpard drives off into the distance on his motorbike with LI and on the way you give high fives to your entire Squad from ME2/ME3 and go live out life somewhere.

THE END EVERYONE IS HAPPY.


Cliche? yes. BUT WHO CARES??

Every fan leaving the game satisfied? yes.

About Emily Wong..
I wish they'd handle it like the Dr.Chakwas/Dr.Michele kind of thing: you get to choose your ship's doctor as well as the ship's war reporter. I promised Wong an exclusive interview after all X)
Also I didn't get to find out about Wong's death after waaay a long time in game and to get that news from the web was like ".... O.o'.." Moment for me x_x.
