Ok I'm sure this has been discussed to death but what exactly was the point in getting an IGN reporter to do the voice of a character in ME3? Was it just them trying to be clever because I found it very obvious she wasn't a professional voice actor and it really annoyed me. If they want to hire non-pros for any future games I might as well put my name forward...Major Swift wrote...
i didn't know they did this when i first started playing so when i played i was like "Where the hell is Wong" then i found out about it, hell just an email or something about it happening in-game would have been fineMr Chr15topher wrote...

They wanted an emotional buildup to the release of ME3 on the 6th, so they wrote these every 5 mins or so. If you visualise whats happening it is quite cool, but it would have been awesom to actually see that in game or at least the last part with her shuutle going ito a reaper on earth as you were leaving.
Edit: just realized someone else posted a similar comment while I was typing this lol
They were probably trying to either get cozy with some of the bigger gaming magazines or trying to get the game full of well known people. I also found her voice acting weak. Also she never had much to actually do. I think you only get 2 interviews with her and talk to her once when you first meet her. At least Emily Wong could have actually given you updates on news from around the galaxy and asked if you wanted to edit anything to keep morale up (eg don't report that a colony has gone dark)
